The library is one of the best and has so many books and scripts and ancient studies. The campus is huge and is a nice green area to walk around. The playground is a good place to sit and have a talk around. The canteen is always buzzing with life, food and the smell of tea.

One of the prestigious Universities in West Bengal. It is very near to Jadavpur Railway Station and opposite gate number 2 there is 8B bus stand. The campus is huge and atmosphere is awesome. Football ground is currently closed. There are volleyball and basketball court also.

Students get highest degree of freedom in every aspect. Education cost is very low. Only hostel facilities are not available for most because of limited seats. Food is very good. Another one with presidency and Calcutta University who taught so many subjects,located in South Kolkata. University campus is good,open it have a hostel also for the students to stay.the University is strongly involved in our politics.

Good university but the faculty members are not that good. If you go there for the 1st time, for an entrance exam or something, and dont know the map of the campus, Then you should go atleast 2 hours early. As the faculty doesnt help you properly. They just make you confused, As a result, you reach the exam hall late,as happened in my case 🤷‍♀️

The school has an advance ATAL Tinkering Lab(robotics lab) for innovative students. Great place to explore the hidden talents of a student.

Has most of the heavy machines, including lathe, milling machine, gear cutting machine and so on... The assistants are very cooperative and helpful!! The workshop is the 2nd largest is India after IIT Kanpur... The only drawback is, during rains, water droops from the roof

Well, its not a tourist place. But, the scenic beauty in Jhilpar, near the playground is really nice. There are at least more than four canteens, open for almost everybody. Over all, this is a peaceful place and a good place to spend your lonely times.

As a parting comment, I dont particularly detest my College life.JU teach me to be independent, think independently, and survive throgh crests and troughs.My fellow classmates ranged from the hard working to the street smart.They may have Lyadh for entire semester but during exam time,they become all busy and show their JU spirit.And you know what,Im really proud to be a jadavpurian.

It is one of the best university of West Bengal. The campus is very large and clean. The seminars arranged here are in systematic manner and very punctual.
