In short Extremely horrible services, staff is rude, unwilling to help. In 7 years of being with ICICI bank and dealing with multiple branches never have I been dished out such horrible treatment.You will not at all feel like you are walking in to an icici bank branch, rather like the grameen division of a government bank that is undergoing bankruptcy procedures. The branch doesnt have a working printer nor a photocopy machine that works. Its run by a skeletal staff, one person at a desk, one person at cash teller and a security is all I could see.In all other branches the attitude is generally how may I help you as soon as you walk in, but here thw attitude is kya hua? Kyun aaye ho yaha? as if they are irritated that now they have to do extra work because you walked in. Oh and may be thats the reason for the half an hour I was there I did not see a single other customer walk in.I had gone to collect my debit card from here which had been sent by my home branch in Pune. The customer service officer had clearly told me that all I would require would be my original aadhaar card. But the person at the counter, Azad shaikh, told me that you will need to provide an attested photcopy of your aadhaar card. I went outside and saw that not a singlePhtocopy shop was there nearby and I would have to take a packed bus(yes in corona times) travel 2 stops just to get a photocopy. So i politely told him that in other branches all I had to do was sign a register with my aadhaar card number on it and take the card. Plus i had an account with the bank the bank has my original aadhaar card, linked pan card and my signature. I was coming in person, on a workday in between urgent, to collect the card myself. But he was completely unwilling to help.It doesnt end there.. finally he tells me okay we will have it sent to your address. He confirms my address. I ask him again that it wont go back to Pune? To which he reads out my Kolkata address again. 4 days later i find that my card has been sent back to me. Now was that an act of deliberate malice to get rid of me and cause further hassle? Because I am sure the person knew how to read and write. Did he not understand the working of his own bank? In that case,it raises a question as to how incompetent people working here are.Anyway I am still left without a debit card to my salary account and feel grossly hassled, bullied and inconvenienced. :( :(Verditct: STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH OF ICICI BANK.
