So many sweets to try and they are all unconventional . Baked sandesh is my fav.

I live in the locality and visit this smallish but well-stocked outlet of Banchharam approx once a week. It is neat and clean (all their branches are, actually) with display counters lined like an L. You can gaze happily at all the ware - varieties of sandesh and bhaja mishti as well as the new-age fusion types like Mihidana tart (i recommend- try it atleast once). On the shelves, there is an array of snacks and cookies as well as the Banchharam variety of ghee. You will also find the usual shingara, radhaballabhi, rolls to munch on or carry back.Ok, theres no seating here. So best to pack and take out. Else simply wolf down standing there if youre absolutely famished. They will nicely warm up the savoury items.
