Stayed in Room 311 for 2 days last week.... AC is not properly working and the toilet leaks on flushing !Food is however good.

Stayed here earlier last year while holidaying with my friends. Nice clean rooms with basic amenities and also the place is located strategically to explore the city. The only issue we faced was that we were three in a room but were allotted a small room instead and when we asked for a bigger room we were told all rooms were full although there were rooms available. Then my friend, who is a local, spoke with the lady receptionist she agreed to change our room. Besides this, overall we enjoyed out stay here and dont mind going back.

Hotel second house in kali ghat sardhar lane is worst hotel hospitality and staffs behavior is humiliating plz dont recommend this hotel for any one

The ambience is good. However the behavior is not that great. They delivered us two alcohol free cocktails, which they replaced after lodging complaints. The foods supplied were good. Overall the place is good for friends gathering.

Worst Service. Need to work on there service. Room service was pretty good. Room ambiance is still ok. Located back side of Lake Mall. Staff was pretty friendly. Room interior is good. Parking is not available.

I will prefer it next time when i will visit kolkata again. I guess the best hotel in bhowanipore if youre looking for budget hotel.Staff was polite & very helpful.They have very good kitchen which serves good food according to me.You cant smoke in rooms & outside foods are not allowed as well.

Stay is not that pleasant. Television, washbasin tap were faulty. Curtains were torn. No desk present and not been provided after complaint to the service staff. The service guys were not professional at all. Their lift gets stuck between 3rd and 1st floor. But the food was good.

Nice rooms with cooperative staff. Tariffs are on upper hand side a bit but worth it. Having a bar and restaurant inside hotel is the cherry on top.

Neither AC nor TV working.. they said they cannot recharge their D2H connection.. i guess they didnt had the funding even after charging u like a 4-5start hotel food.. really nit happy.

Visited the Second House Restaurant located on the first floor of this Oyo Property. Shabby, dark decor with decent seating capacity. Good staff service and behaviour. The place is not ideal for families as it is more youth appealing. The youngsters will love this place as it has happy hours and also special combo options with alcohol. Also the liquor rates are very moderate and affordable. Food-wise has plenty of options to choose from. Food is good. Though one suggestion please do not try continental here. It is absolutely awful. Rest the Chinese and Indian dishes were really good especially the fish Ajwain tikka. All in all a good place to visit for a quick lunch or dinner. Can improve though.

Good location, close to Kalighat metro, comfortable stay, but breakfast is very very poor, rooms are not cleaned and linen changed till we request.

It was a good hotel.Its very close to kalighat and services are very good as well.No problem with transportation as youll get buses ,cabs for all directions from there.

Excellent hotel at very reasonable price... Nice arrangements, Cosy rooms. Has an in-house restaurant and bar with great ambience. Breakfast is complimentary if you book via oyo. The breakfast is served in the restaurant by 8am every morning as a well set buffet and basically includes bread toasts, boiled eggs, dal fry, puri, upma, tea, milk and cornflakes. It is couple friendly, good for families. Rooms have free Wi-Fi, AC and other amenities. However it is not for those who are searching for very cheap hotels. Approx price around INR 2000/N. Located centrally near market establishments and Cinepolis. Easily accessible via cabs, trams, bus and metro services. The worst thing about this place is its high meal rates. Two plates of rice, one plate paneer butter masala, dal fry and one green salad will cost you INR 709 and the quality is not that worth.

Oyo has thought them business but, the property owner are stronch and unknown abut the prospect in the fields of Hotel business and Hospitality.Rooms are not maintained properly, they .ake bucks on skiping breakfasts, they could have offered a good Welcome drink atleast in lieu of the cost of BF.Discount is the name Abd game of this business, which these property owners think that they are affording those money of their profit, which is otherwise, have coasted them a loss in daily turnover.Grow up guys, India is changing.......dont copy General.motors or Hind Motors model, else will get extinct......mind this.Thanks.
