One of the oldest buildings of Kolkata...not maintained with worn out infrastructure...

A huge building said to be built during the time when the Calcutta High Court was built. This colonial structure stands beside the court and the Town Hall. It has very big columns and a grand and luxurious layout with two lifts from that era but its very efficient and a pleasure to use. The building is now filled with numerous lawyer chamber who all practices at the high court just across the street. The economic condition in Calcutta has here too left its marks making this building look shabby and gloomy because for lack of maintenance and up keeping. The place is also infested with spits of pan parag.
