Its a vast play ground...it is near Arabinda Bhaban...every day students plays here..basically crickete is played.. Football is also played...the place is very useful for jogging.. It is enjoy ful for students... Different departmental students comes with making a group and take sub places for their match...

This is the place where footballers like me are created with the great efforts of me and my friends... we play regularly... like every evening... the field is always on very high demand. U have to take place for ur team to play or else ur day is wasted... it has perfect ground with constant water supply and a canteen which serves great food at cheap price. More over u get all the transport facilities. Jadavpur railway station is 2 min. Walk and 8b bus stand is like a meter away.... its very easy to access even from very far of places... it is... great perhaps. And even if u wanna try something different u get access to hotels cafes and dhabas just opposite of 8b bus stand... even if u wanna go to southcity mall there is this rickshaw stand there which directly takes u to southcity mall...Indeed many of my school time memories r connected to this place... from playing football to eating stuffs from waiting the weather to with sunny to chai r adda..... everything is just mesmerising...

This playground is quite amazing. It has cricket pitch, basketball court. Football and shorthand cricket is also played here. In the evening the field becomes the place of great adda.

This place is amazing.... Its open 24×7 and its a big playground. And truth to be told This Playground is a part of my University. I had played here. In my bad days I used to sit there in the evening with my best friend . This is our favourite spot.

This ground is big in size. Throughout the year students can play here. University tournaments are organized here. Students and people from outside also come here to play. But there is serious shortage of grass and the ground remains always dirty. University authority should be more cautious about the maintenance of this ground.

Ground is open for everyone, even those who dont study at Jadavpur. Maintenance is zero. There is hardly any grass on field. And it is irregular as well. But you can have fun playing with others.

Its level as a table but a bit dusty for one with respiratory problem might feel uncomfortable here. But as this is a university ground, please abide by their rules of playing time. Hello pal, This is the place i mean Jadavpur University playground may be the biggest playground u could find in Calcutta (although maidan exits:)) where u could play football and other games.This playground not just a ground where u play this is a emotion because as a Jadavpur University student i saw so many u turn which is a compitition for freshers student and different engineering department are play against each other to win the game and win the u turn cup.So i am also played for my ETCE dept in football. If u have to express this ground one might say AWESOME.

If at all the P.E dept are having drills they usually finish by 5 PM so after that its all good to play !

This is called muktangon, a place where student sit for hours after hours charting in all seasons. during the afternoon they also play football, cricket and all different sports. other outside people also come to play and sit here. but the authority ignores it and do not maintain at all

Lack of instruments. No or very little scholarship for researcher. Job opportunity very less in core sectors. B.E students can not learn how to operate instruments because they couldnt get the chance to operate instruments. So, in industry ( specially r&d and QA ) they face many problems.

Cricket, Football and Basketball grounds available here. The greenery is missing in some places and you would only find layers of sand. This acts as a hindrance while playing football. This is also a good place to have chit chat with friends and you may also try to spend some lonely time there, with the evening breeze and soothing songs in your playlist.
