Overall good Family hotel . 1200 INR is the cost per day. Do not eat any food at thier restaurant . They had a monopoly . Charges are higher and despite of few items available in Thali they would not offer you Thali. Hotel is though quite good .Let me tell you a secret .There is a luci and chai shop near this Hotel . It is too good to eat breakfast there . There is a adjacent attached hindu hotel to eat where you can have dhaba taste level food . It is located in Dobson Road

On of the best hotel in howrah. I received good amount of best service. If you are in howrah or searching for hotel must go only shivam hotel. Very need and clean rooms and superb service. Staff is very sincere.

The worst ever hotel I have visited so far. They charge for everything but didnt give. At first we have made the bedsheets changed as room serviceman told its completely washed but there was a clear patch of curry. On two days of halt we had to change three rooms because of light, water issue. The bathroom was like sulabh sauchalay. No cleanliness, no water, very bad smell , no toilet fresher and not even phenyl used. The looking mirror was damp .The receptionists behaviour was very rude. I would recommend all never go there.

Ambience was good, service staffs were less due to covid but were very courteous, chinese food was good.

The hotel wont provide you towel in the room. Also drinking water is not available in the room. The toilet and the room is very dirty. The price taken for the room is also very high as per the amenities provided in it. The behavior of the staff is also very rude. Multiple unrelated and personal questions are asked while giving the rooms inspite of providing them with the documents asked by them. If any problem arises during the stay, then no one is there to address the problem and sought it out. My opinion is not to book this hotel anymore as we cant check the status of the hotel while making the booking. My horrible experience although I stayed only for one day. The room smells very bad as if its not been cleaned for many days. Also the condition of the bathroom is very bad as all the tap is with rust and water is not coming properly with it. The basin is also very dirty. The comod is also very dirty. The blankets and the bedsheet provided is also very dirty. In worst situation we have to adjust in the room as we had already paid.

Had an amazing experience here. Visited the place first time and the stay was really good. Close to the Howrah station with easy access to any kind of transportation, be it a bus, auto, taxi or a rickshaw. Polite and friendly staff. Easy on the pocket too.

Finding a much better hotel in Howrah, was nightmare, but finding Hotel Shivam is not less than miracle. The ambience, staffs and the professional attire made it big. Rooms are decent and the restaurant is an added advantage. Walking distance (10mins) from railway station or bus depot. Will visit again in case of next trip.

The hotel doesnt provide seperate bed in case you are booking for 3 people.Also, please mind... The hotel doesnt provide blankets are dirty. We asked for same sort of blanket for single bed as provided for double bed, they clearly denied and said it is like that, do whatever you want.

Place is good. Not a luxury hotel but still nice rooms, near to howrah station, easy transportation, room service for food, lift facility, online booking available, good for family stay. over all an economical place to stay for your vacation.

The hotel is situated at an inaccessible area, the location looks dingy and sketchy. We were 3 women and didnt feel safe at the area. The rooms themselves were unclean and there were some tiles missing in the bathroom ceiling which made us uncomfortable to use the facilities. Wont recommend this for women and families.

I paid Rs 1600 for just a few hours of stay at the hotel for 3 guys. The rooms were very very small and bathroom was also very small amd smelling badly. Staffs kept on asking for money everytime they come to our room. They hired us a cab which cost us Rs 100 for just 1 km to howrah station. So the only benefit of the room i.e. being near to howrah station went away.

A terrible mistake... a mistake where I end up paying!! A black mark in hospitality industry.Receptionist needs to behave and respond well. No proper room service ..

Nice and comfortable stay. Need to improve upon the amenities in the room especially the toilets. Cleanliness scores an average grade. Staff and men at service are really cooperative and have nicely behaveved.

I would not suggest anyone as the rooms are very dirty and the bathroom condition will make you vomit as its too dirty and smells very bad. Also the water from the tap is also coming very slowly. Also they wont give you towels in the room and also the drinking water is not available. The price for the hotel is Rs 1700 now its your decision to chose this place.

One of worst experience I ever had with oyo booking in this hotel. Poor room service response / food quality. Dirty curtain, filthy foot mat. Poor bathroom/ electrical fittings. Oyo said booking confirm check-in denied at reception. Hotel staff not cooperative.

This is near to station. For south indian people there are south indian dishes available near by. For the rate the amenities provided are very less compared to other state hotels.

They take order from Oyo at lower price and when you reach there, they will tell that they have different rates and you are bound to take on that rate. They even provided me a fake Oyo number to talk and consult matter. The solution that came after discussing the matter with Oyo person was to cancel the booking and rebook at different location. Got screwed in this place....Even after having booked and already paid for the room, when I reached the hotel , the manager said that there is no room available and they cant do anything & its not there problem... Horrible behaviour by staff...In addition I later found out that they already checked in and checked out the room in my name which led to quite a confusion..I was stranded there for 2 hrs ..AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST..
