The food taste and quality has deteriorated like hell. None of the kebabs , none of the Chinese items edible . I dont know on what basis they are charging 2500 . Secondly suddenly they have updated us at 9.45 ,as per the goverment guideline they can not serve the drinks and buffet will be closed at 10.15. they should have told this earlier .I am totally disappointed on my outing

I had the fortune to visit the lobby only. It is quite spacious with comfortable sitting arrangements. Two people can seat face to face on a round table comfortably for conversation. Entrance security arrangements are as per standard. Keep sanitizer with you because no one will provide it at entrance.

Was in JWKitchen. Good but far smaller and less variety compared to the buffet in JW Marriott in Chandigarh. Nice open space.Sat in the lobby for a while to chat. Good Darjeeling tea. But no trace of cloth or paper napkins in the tray. Maybe nobody cares.

Excellent quality of food but the service at the buffet was very poor.Last time it offers a top notch service and it was so pleasant for us.But It seems their hosting is degraded day by day and its only running my its good will and failed to assure the visitors to visit again.The place is not cleaned at the time of lunch. After asking for several times for drinking water and cleaning of the tables they did it.Moreover that the used plates are dumped over the tables beside the lunch area and the food,fell on the ground are not cleaned quickly.Supervision should be done thoroughly and frequently and the problems faced by the guests should be taken care of.

We went to attend the JW kitchen buffet.We had heard a lot about it--but overall it disappointed us.The ambience was excellent, but that was the only positive I can think of.Menu was vast-- but most of the continental dishes were way below average. Indian dishes were okayish. I would suggest everyone to attend the live counters-- the taste was good but options were very limited.Overall, I think it is overhyped.The buffets in other hotels of same bracket were way better.

The entire ambience was poor for an international property. Food had flies and hair in it. Went with 20pax for brunch and even got food poisoning 5 of my family members after eating. No greeting by staff members no thank you or follow up even after I called the restaurant manager. Its like I need to show them doctors certificate after this experience. Mayor Ill just Photoshop a fly and a hair in the food so that they believe. I dont want their stupid refunds. Looks like during corona they have even forgot how to uphold their brand status. Went for lunch buffet to JW Kitchen.Ambience is good, it is tastefully decorated and well arranged. Though the seats arent very clean, the velvet sofas have stains on them from prolonged neglect.Good is alright, its worth the money when you factor in deserts but its nothing great.

So called 5 star - Drinks/Water contains flies. Food variety was extremely poor, not a single prawn dish was available (is it a joke?). I cant recommend a single type food at this place, be it starter, main course or dessert. Its evident that quality has reduced a lot post covid.

I did not stay there, but visited the Vintage Asia restaurant at this place.The decor was oriental inspired and good, but could be better. The service was good and attentive. The waiters knew about the dishes and could explain details about the dishes in the menu.Coming to the food, it was strictly average or above average for such an upscale place. The desert section was especially disappointing.The drinks and cocktails were good.

We just completed a 2 nights staycation at JW Marriott Kolkata to celebrate my wifes Birthday and it was the most awesome experience in a while for us and totally unexpected! We had heard about excellent service at the Hotel but nothing prepared us for the royal treatment. Front office (Sneha) first ensured the room of our choice facing ITC Royal. Guest Relations Manager (Sweta) had our room decorated with balloons and arranged foot spa. Together they showered us with gifts (Kababs, Spa vouchers, Chocolate, etc) but best of all they came to our room personally for cake cutting. Thank you Suvankar for the fantastic house keeping and Anil @ JW Kitchen Buffet for taking special care. It was an experience of a lifetime and we look forward to returning to JW Marriott, our favourite Hotel chain.

Well, I visited with my family for dinner..They finds a table no 33. For us which is unstable!Coming to food! In dinner buffet for the cost avg. 2000 lesser menu comes with higher price. Even they fill irritated when you claim your complementary beers!

Very nice dining experience in the hotel. The staffs are courteous and always there to assist you in terms of food and also if u want anything additional they are pleased to serve you. The ambience is very calm and soothing. Quality of food also at par excellence. Over all very great night we spend. It was a occasion of my mother birthday they have provided us the cake as well.

One of the best five star luxury hotels in Kolkata. The infrastructure and decorations are marvellous. I had the dinner buffet at the restaurant JW kitchen. The food is pretty great, quite a lot of varieties and cuisines are available. However its quite pricey, and maybe a little disproportionate to the taste and quality. This sort of a buffet is quite standard at such luxury hotels. Though all the items were delicious, to a foodie, such as myself, none really stood out, meaning, if you are into going to good restaurants frequently, dont expect to get anything very different at JW kitchen, except of course the big hole that itll burn in your pocket ;) Theres also some scope of improvement in management and staff efficiency.

Staff - even better...... hotel ambiance is top notch. special shoutout to the ground floor restaurant staff...... u guyzz are amazing.just a small suggestion for the management, please try something to get rid of the mosquitoes and bugs from the outdoor seating area outside the coffee shop. i was there for 15 mins and was literally eaten alive by them.other than that all was great....And special thanks to Ms Sahili and Ms Simran for my easy check-in and check-out. thanks to them i could get an early check-in which was deeply appreciated.P.S. : Please get rid of the mosquitoes...... that way i can enjoy the outdoors next time without having to think of contracting malaria or dengue. Trust me, its not a good feeling if u have to worry about that.......

Today 9th august was our anniversary , we planned to have our lunch there. But our experience was very bad as the quality of the food was very bad. Every item had a smoky smell, the number of fish food items was negligible. The quality of the desserts there was not at par. The taste of the sweets (bengali sweets) was not as expected to be. Our bill no. was JZK0168433 and our bill amount was Rs. 4244 but the food quality is overall not at all satisfactory. it was a very bitter experience. On the other hand, the ambience was good, the staff was very cooperative , they were very well behaved.

Buffet quality is not so good if you compare with other 5 star rated hotels,, ambience good, food quantity sufficient,, rate per head is negotiable if you order for bulk people,, around 1500/-

I stayed there for 2 nights it was the worst experience. I have stayed in mariott in numerous places but this was the worst. The Air conditioning did not work the staff were rude and unprofessional. As a platinum member of mariott it makes me sad to witness such services in Kolkata.

Went for their special Roast and Pies brunch which was the most elaborate menu I had ever experienced. The food was terrible at the Vintage Asia restaurant of Mariott. They are calling it a buffet but actually they are serving all the dishes themselves. That is ok since crowding at the table to bring food ourselves is not advisable in the corona environment, but they are bringing incredibly small number of items to the table and on requesting more plates, the number of pieces are reducing per plate. The taste of the duck and pork main course dishes was awful. All the dishes of the main course were served in tiny portions among 4 of us like temple prasad. Dessert was also a lacklustre affair. On top of that, when three of us ordered another round of one particular dessert, they said sorry and informed us that the time to order was only upto 3 pm. They hadnt given us that information earlier. We demanded to meet the manager and he apologized and only brought us two desserts. On top of all this, the bill came up to more than ₹2000 per person!! This is a very bad deal. Please dont visit this restaurant if good food is your wish, not the ambience of a 5 star facility.

Nice place to enjoy your lunch with family or friends,well maintained, beautifully decorated,well behaved stuffs, delicious food was served from a beautiful opon kitchen.

The food became familiar and best two Indian non veg starters turned into extraordinary. I don’t know why they opened up the eating place buffet for a birthday celebration. that permit in lot of crowd and therefore marred the atmosphere. The JW at Bangalore turned into much better and hence the expectations were excessive. It did now not stay up to the expectancies.

It was amazing. I had a little trouble with the room that was initially allotted but they took care of that.
