It is near City Center , Surrounded by Hotel Sonet & Golden Tulip.All the Staff of this hotel,Bell hops and reception folks are good ,generous and helpful. During pandemic this hotel is following all rules and taking all precautions. You can stay here safely. And all these in a reasonable rate. I would love to come and stay here again.My purpose of visit was business and this hotel seemed ideal for the purpose. Liked the stay here. I enjoyed food here with my business associates. The ambience was great.The entrance had a ramp. There were helpers around. Pretty lounge area, double bedroom was standard. Lighting was perfect. Fire sprinkler, bathroom alert were in place. Amenities like digital safe, mini bar, hair dryer, kettle.

Had a buffet lunch. Good spread in both veg and non veg items. Also have good variety of starters and desserts. Quality of food is pretty good. Golbari mutton is superb. Clean environment in the restaurant with good protocol for covit. Another important facility is the ample parking space in front of the hotel. On the whole it was a nice experience.

Ive visited the Bar named The Library in De Sovrani. I really liked the ambience and the decor of the place. Required Covid protocols and precautions are in place. Regarding food, I really liked the Pan Fried Chilli Fish. One thing is lacking a bit what I felt is the experience of service staff in the Bar. They need to brush up a bit on their customer service skills. Another request I would like to make to the management, kindly spruce up your cellar coz we didnt got our choice of liquor. Rest everything is fine. I would encourage people to visit De Sovrani and have a great time.

I went to the place with my family for the special sunday bengali lunch buffet. The buffet is one of the budget friendly bengali buffet in the town under Rs700.However, the paturi dish can be little better in terms of taste as I found it was not a bhetki fish. Further, the taste of the baked rasogolla can be enhanced a bit if you are looking to satisfy the taste buds of bengali people. An impromptu trip to Kolkata with my Nihon, left us clueless for a bit, though we were newbies to Kolkata,De Sovrani made us feel welcomed, rooms were upto the mark, comfiest bed, good food, the only drawback was that the window wasn’t retractable, if opening a window is not a problem then go for it, otherwise you might feel cooped in.

A very Hospitable place and a comfortable stay. The hotel treats its guests very well and the complimentary breakfast option is decent. Here are few pics of the breakfast options available. My purpose of visit was business and this hotel seemed ideal for the purpose. Liked the stay here.

The buffet system is pretty nice. Provides you with a variety of proteins and vegetarian items. If you are a member of this hotel you also get to live in their rooms at a cheaper rate and even rent their banquet for a cheaper rate. I enjoyed my visit there alot.the food is good the ambience is good.

A hotel of its kind needs to be better at the service and in ambience. De Sovrani is just an average hotel with above average food and average environment. I personally do not recommend going there if you can afford better and trusted hotels.

I would never waste my money on this hotel which is good for nothing. the front desk manager knows nothing about the hotel rule, the trainee boy gives a statement then changes it.. wasted my money here. please don’t visit this cheap hotel

The location of the hotel is at the most happening place in Salt Lake. There is ample space in front of the hotel to park the car. It is very near to City Centre 1. Metro station City Centre is within walking distance. Hospital is also available within walking distance. All types of conveyance are also available at the main road. Quality of the food is good at the hotel restaurant.

Chicken items were stale, even the hakka noodles and Singapore chicken was having lot of stones in it. The fish starter was raw not evenly cooked. I will not recommend this hotel.

The service rendered by receptionist (Mr. J.M.Singh) was against ethics of hotel industry (service sector). He is very rude in behaviour and not providing room when guest arrived but room was available. His behaviour was totally rubbish and like dictatorship (seams monopoly) only hotel in kolkata. It was against proffessionalism of this sector. Owner of this hotel should take a note of the same otherwise competitor will go ahead and u will have nothing available to loose.

A great place to stay in Kolkatas salt Lake area. Located near Central park, it is centrally located and is well connected popular location.Hotel is excellent in terms of Hospitality and Services, staff is supportive and prompt response to respond to the requests. Amenities are good and well maintained.The linens and towels are changed daily and food is also awesome here. Definitely deserve a 5 star rating.

Do Not expect any hot water over there.. they say that its from 6am-10am and then they again switch it on from 6pm to 10pm. But thats not true! We didnt get a single drop of hot water all throughtout our stay! And since we were travelling with kids it was of grave inconvenience to us! Breakfast menu was also very poor! Not tasty food at all! The only part that was good was there gulab jamun!

We had booked the banquet hall on the third floor for a family event and it was a very nice experience. The staff was very cordial and extremely helpful, especially during the event. The food was well cooked and served well. The decorator we had worked with also did a nice job, as we went for a simple decor with balloons. Overall it was a good experience of using the hall for the venue of our event. Also a special thank you for Mr Avijit and the team for helping us through the entire event.

Everything was pleasant .staff was very friendly and cooperative. They were more than polite and always approachable ,welcoming .Location wise its great too with city centre being just a walk away . If u plan to go to other mall or any other place it is centrally located for all of them. Locality is quite and peaceful.Breakfast was Nice. And room service was awesome too. Hotel is not neat and clean ,even long hair is found in food . They charge higher than the they (3.5 k for double bed room) actually deserve.Hotel lacks discipline . Even at the dawn you can hear your next room guests are quarrelling with any girl over her payment or playing music loudly and the authority is just a normal audience .I have doubt whether it is properly sanitized. Food charge is higher comparatively . Staff behaviour is polite.

We had a buffet dinner here, the food served was tasteless and quality of the preparations was poor, I would advise the management to increase the price if it is not sustainable and not to compromise on quality.

I had a small injury during my stay and a drop of blood fell on my bed. They charged me 1200 as a cleaning charge for that, which is absolutely outrageous for 1 drop of blood! Im pretty sure the average quality bedsheets that they use couldnt have been worth more than a few hundred. Horrible experience due to this, would not recommend at all. I mean, its sounds absurd that they would charge me half the cost of the hotel roomitself for a tiny blood stain, absolutely horrible policy and I would advice yall to stay away.

Nice Budget Business Hotel - A well located hotel close to City Center 1. Neat clean rooms. The toilets are neat. The size might be a bit small but otherwise its good. The food is of good quality. Its a good place for business stay.

Friendly and courteous staffs. Hassel free stay with super tasty food. I loved the small but effective pool on the rooftop decorated beautifully around with a bar counter at the end. Have stayed twice due to pocket friendly and tasty food available with a relaxed mind. Location is superb with multiple options for taste buds and shopping as well. See you soon Sovrani !
