I love this hotel.... Service of staff is excellant. Food is superp. But probably they are coming out of corona crisis... As such toiletries were missing, anytime hot water was not available, AC needed servicing. So i would give them the benefit of doubt. Will definitely stay again.

Rooms are not as good as the price . Bathroom is not clean. AC works good in morning but at night they use to control it from their end . Dont have any secured parking area .Food is good and as they allow outside food also so one can order from outside , service , staff behaviour is good .

It was an excellent stay with Celesta. I recommend all to stay here. its also having good connectivity to airport, malls and nearby coffee shops and markets.

The overall experience was perfectly splendid. The environment is great and has a premium vibe to it. The room was pleasant, full of amenities, spacious as well as clean. We also got a free room upgradation upon arrival. The staffs were friendly and supportive. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable as well. The only thing which could have made the experience better is addition of a number of TV channels (local and international) as I could only find Free channels there on the TV. Though this did not bother me much as I was carrying my own laptop already, presence of TV channels can enhance the experience of the stay even more for other guests. Overall an amazing â­ â­ â­ experience and also I must add here, is that, this hotel is indeed already ahead of its own league. Miles to go, Celesta. Local Government IDs are accepted and can be pre-uploaded through GoIbibos Web Check-in portal. After the complete verification of the data uploaded (takes minimum time to approve) by the Hotel authorities, one can opt for Contactless Check-in on the date of actual arrival/Check In. Visitors are not allowed to rooms for security reasons but couples can check-in for a stay here without any hassle.

The Hotel is neat and located at a nice location surrounded by Big Bazaar etc. The staffs are courteous and polite. Delux room which we used were spacious and well organized and room service was pretty responsive as well.

The email I have sent to them with respect to the harassment I faced during availing the service by Celesta hotel Kolkata:I regret to state that I am completely disappointed and unsatisfied with your service.As you can see the below communication, we have booked Celesta, “Runaway Banquet” on 7th floor for my wedding reception on 7th March, 2021. I was extremely harassed due to the below reasons:1) I have been charged for 190 guests however there were only 170 guests present. Please find the below communication where it is clearly mentioned about the count of the guest. No one has explained me the details and breakdown of the charges when asked they told me that only saleshead can explain and we are not allowed to go outside if we do not pay the entire amount. It was quite harassing.Total budget calculationTotal cost approached and accepted - Rs 1050 * 170- Rs 178000 - this includes the Food cost, location cost and GSTTotal cost charged and forced to pay - Rs 1050* 190- Rs 199500We have been forced to pay excess Rs 21500 which is certainly unacceptable.All the bills have been attached with the email for your reference.2) The packaged foods were horrible. They only provided Alu and Rice and charged for the full plates. This have been informed to the sales head and he did not have any clue for the same.3) We had few very famous guests including Celebrities, Officers and Media person. There was a security who was constantly arguing related to parking without knowing their faces. This also have been informed to the Sales head and he took action immediately. However I felt bad for that incident.4) A person from the fooding counter has behaved quite badly with my Mother and denied for packaging the food. This has been informed to the manager of the same counter. They apologised but that did not make any sense as their behaviour was unforgivable.5) Much unprofessional behaviour has been shown during the payment as most of the card machines have not been working. We kept waiting for almost 2 hours which was not harassing but it completely ruined my most special day. Apologies have been given by the Sales head but it was certainly not accepted as the damages have been done.6) On 8th March, 2021, I have informed the Sales head Mr Debasish Guha Roy for the above adverse experience. He apologised however mentioned that the excess amount that I have paid cannot be refunded as the bill has been generated. However the point was totally illogical, I kept explaining him the details. Then he said that he will speak with the Manager/Director.Its been almost 20 days I have not been received any positive response on this. I would really request the Celesta team to provide me explanations on above and refund my excess money. Please note that I am a social media influencer and also an Software Engineer from a very reputed MNC. I will certainly not tolerate any further unprofessionalism on this and may post every single details to aware my followers, friends and entire public. This kind of behaviour is not at all expected from 3 star hotel.Attaching you the official documents. I have other details as well including recordings, transaction summary etc.The below communication can also be taken as a reference.Your prompt and earliest action would be highly expected on this.The below reply I have got which shows their incapability and unprofessionalism:Dear Sir,Thanks for the mail & also sorry for delay response due to my family problems.But I am not able to anything from my end as you already paid the raised bill amount which was Accepted by you, earlier I already Conveyed to you over phone sir. As per company policy we cant Revised anything once night audit done.This hotel is doing nothing but stealing money from its customers. I am extremely harassed and regretting of choosing Hotel Celesta as the venue of my marriage reception.I do not want anyone else to face this harassment hence this review is for all.

Have had a family wedding reception here. Hell lot of cons.1. Banquet is on 7th floor2. There are only two small lifts having 4 pax capacity.3. Catering service could not handle serving loads, somce there were two parties going on simultaniusly.4. Food was being exhausted and refill time is pathetic.5. Starters ( non veg) were exhausted and when asked for refill, staff denied that only 90 mins is the serving time. Although there was nothing mentioned in the time of booking.6. Washrooms are too small.7. Waiters are not well trained.8. Quality of food is pathetic.9. Packaging time is too long.In a nutshell please do never book this place for wedding or other reception party purpose.

Everything was so perfect in this hotel.This was my first visit.Absolutely loved it.💯 The interior was very classy.Havent tried their food ,so no idea about the eateries.Removed 1 star because of the washroom,this has got everything except a fan.A fan was very much needed in. the washroom.Hope to visit again.

Its very much near from Kolkata airport. Rooms were super clean though its bit small but not tiny. Buffet was full of delicacies. Also they served omelette n dosa varieties on demand. Its a central place to roam around. Surely u can look forward for a small trip.

It was an amazing stay at celesta. Very near to (around 10 minutes drive) to airport. There are lot of shops nearby including big bazaar, KFC and haldirams. Room was big and clean. Dinner buffet was reasonable. We didnt have chance to have breakfast as our flight was early morning. Amenities offered justified the amount paid. Staff were very courteous. Thank you Celesta for giving us a wonderful stay!

Rooms are good and a little bit expensive (3500 INR) considering service. Hot water not available at night and compared to Ibis sipcot- Chennai (breakfast, lunch & dinner is bufe and free and room cost is only 3500 INR) it is actually nothing. Lift has a turtle like speed and can hardly accomodate three person. No Sandler is provided in room, low light and overall miser service compared to price and other same level hotel.

Yes. A really good and well appointed hotel to stay..Very Nice Ambience and very decent management and the staffing.Food is very good and hygienic.Very courteous people. Very near to Airport, may be 10 to 15 minutes drive. The hotel has pick up and drop off facility from airport. I have no idea about railway junction pick up and drop off. I will recommend the hotel.

There are many reasons.1. Room floor was sticky2. Flush was not working we complained several times but still it was not resolved3. Even though the checkout time is 12 they will ask you leave hotel at 9. We saw the rules of the hotel at the exit that the checkout time is at 12.4. Staff is polite but they wont listen to anytime till you tell me 3 4 times

Hotel is at good location. Approachable. Public transport as well as taxis are easily available. room is nice, clean and safe. staff is supportive. breakfast is nice. I had the breakfast at 7 AM but still all the varieties were available.

Hotel is located at the main road, which is easily accessible. Rooms are very clean. Washroom, toilet are very clean with hot water available. Toiletries provided. Drinking water provided. Room service was very very good.... House keeping staff was very co operative. Food taste and delivery time of the food to room was very satisfactory. Have a very good bar and a restaurant . KFC is very nearby so having outside food is also easy. Have Kathleen confectionery outlet nearby for baked food like puffs etc. Default booking doesnt have free breakfast. Double check while booking. Even otherwise you can have breakfast buffet at 400 rs + taxes. Overall very satisfied and will prefer to stay here during next kolkata visit as well

This Restaurant deserves a 10star out of 5. I was here for a bloggers meet event few days back.. Fabulous Food, Decor and service.. CELESTA is located very nearer to the Airport. Each and every food were damn lipsmacking starting from the sizzlers, biryani, fish noorani, n etc .... And most favourite was the COCONUT Ice cream 😍😍 oh my god it was aaamaaaazinggggg.. the prices are not so affordable but its worth the quality n ambience..We were served by - MR. GOURANGA MONDALHes an amazing person indeed who served us so well and all other staffs were so friendly. All over I just loved this place. Hope to visit again 😊

Such a bad experience. No service at all. Wash room was not clean, room floor was sticky and after so many complaints they came to clean but still it was still sticky. Wifi was not working. I would say a horrible experience. Never go for such hotel.

To be honest not a pretty good hotel as per service. Location is good. Rooms are just fine. But you will face now and then little little issues which will make you feel irritated. Guess they will rectify those problems soon enough.

The service is good. But the hotel needs lot of improvement. When checked in, the bed and pillow had hair strands, blood stains on the bed sheet. AC was not working. When complaint at reception he says its bound to happen.

Everytime I stayed here , something doesn’t work, last trip the room AC, this trip the mini fridge. There’s only 1 bell boy who isn’t available when you need him. The tea nd coffee supplies poor - seem to run short on sugar. Staff as usual slow in responding to requests. Most of the tv channels don’t work. HD out of the question. Hot water not available 24 x7 for baths. You got to request for them to start boilers specially early mornings so please plan your bath well. The complimentary breakfast was earlier okay, now pathetic The puri cold, stiff nd like dried rubber.

I am a regular visitor of this hotel for last five years. In last 5 years, twice I faced the problem with the room but it was immediately sorted out. The entire staff right from the front office, restaurant, room service and housekeeping are very good at their work. The hospitality is very good. The service is quick, food quality is good. They need to bring more variety in their breakfast. My best wishes are with them and I request them to keep doing this type of good work as the customer like me who are the extensive traveller for them hotel is a second home.

I stayed at Celesta couple of days ago for about 2 days. I absolutely loved the stay. The staff was good, rooms were great and twas very welcoming. I liked the fact that guests were allowed to come visit you in your room till 9 pm which most of the hotels dont allow. The next time I am in Kolakata I am definitely staying at Celesta!

As we can see in the app that premium room is smaller than Delux room. I booked premium room(room was specious) but dont know the room was actually premium or delux. i requested to show me delux room also but they refused to show. ac was not cooling properly and no bathtub was available in premium room. they told that bathtub is available in only one room in celesta and that particular room is specially for handicapped persons. as we can see in the app that premium room is smaller than Delux room. I booked premium room(room was specious) but dont know the room was actually premium or delux. i requested to show me delux room also but they refused to show. ac was not cooling properly and no bathtub was available in premium room. they told that bathtub is available in only one room in celesta and that particular room is specially for handicapped persons. not value for money. much more expensive than the amenities provided..**** much better and cheap than celesta.

Had to stay here because i had a flight the next day. this was the only decent place (most other hotels have dance bars/night clubs). very friendly staff who went out of their way to make my stay comfortable even when i checked in late at night. over all the best hotel in the area, if you have to catch a flight or stay close to new town. they free wifi also
