We were so touched and overwhelmed to meet the Principal mam at the BSS School over a discussion for our childs progress and we were just mesmerized & Charmed on how humble and what beautiful thought process she has with regards to a Girl Child. Safety , Making Girls independent & strong are some of her extreme focus and mission it seems , definitely followed by academics , extra curricular activities, good leadership, etc. I am glad to see that we have such a tall leader heading a school which is culturally so rich and renowned for the people of Kolkata. This is a typical orthodox school, not at all flexible in any respect. My daughter is studying in this school and as a parent we are finding it very difficult even to meet teacher. Although we are spending almost Rs.90,000.00 (ninety thousand) per year as tuition fees, class teacher returns home before 2 pm everyday, all Saturday is off. It is very difficult to meet teacher for working parent. The School management is NOT at all co-operative and dont care about the problem parent are facing, they just dont listen to parent. I am planning to move my daughter to another school.THIS SCHOOL IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR YOUNG GENERATION PARENT.

Its not a school but something else ... If a student wants to buy copy or stationary the they have to buy it from the only shop within the school and shopkeeper works even slower than tortoise . They smartclass for only name sake . The teachers are not so good as the school projects them to be..If you are a non bengali then beware you will have the the baddest time ever . Here everybody talks in bengali . Even the teachers while clearing doubts or during lectures starts speaking in bengali. Their only have cake and patties which is also finished within 5 minutes. The teachers doesnt give importance to the new students at all.They have lots of fests and other activities which will not at all help a child to grow . If a student want participate in certain activity then they have to miss their classes.

Headmistress is A crack woman. Also she is human and like A politician. My child went for admission but she deny to take her exam and politically handelled by telling her forcefully all the answer wrong. So beaware of headmistress of this school but except her all the staffs and principal is good. She did this bcause her proposal to admit my child in the previous class we disagree as my child came from Bengali medium. As A teacher she don t know how to behave with A guardian and studentalso.
