I went there yesterday for my passport renewal . They have done outstanding job in a 30 minutes only .and Very helpful and cool behaviour. There is two guys in waiting room who are sitting in a corner system ,I dont know name that guy. They are very helpful . Then I went to 22 number desk . there was a madam . She have done outstanding job. Thanks to all of you .I went there ten years before that was old building . That was very very bad experience for me .This is called hell and heaven difference . Thanks to everyone .

Really a great passport office. Clean and well maintained and the employees are also very well behaved and helpful. But one thing I would like to write is about the passport cover that they also sell there, please dont buy them, they doesnt make any such differences and the passport is better of without it. It also makes the passport bulky, bulky in the sense that it is a really thick cover for the passport but it is not worth the pain of carry the passport in it. Better use the passport alone. When you will start to travel pretty often, you will understand how much irritating thing that passport cover can be.

The workers in there who sits in the A counter are exceptionally good. The B and C counter, the ones whom I encountered with are so chest out. But their was this one lady, she was really good. And the APO guy, along with his follower assistant, so insensitive, rude, has an attitude and above all do not empathize.There was this guy, in the A counter section, a worker, who helped me out through thick and thin, so helpful, so empathetic, so up for the spirit of service, bless him.

Parking - Available in the back gate(Entry point for passport ).It is paid and they will guide.Process - Smooth process if u have all the docs.Timing - Very punctual.exact timing.Staff - Very polite and professional staff.For Minor - Both parents are allowed.Photocopy center - Available inside.

World class service. In and out in less than 30 min. No waiting.Highly efficient and helpful staff. A model as to how government offices should function. TCS shows how it should be done. One thing that needs improvement is the quality of photographs. Outdated cameras should be replaced.

Very easy & efficient process is followed here for applying and renewing passport. Just a drawback that the process takes a lot of time to complete. One should minimum take 3-4hrs of time in hand before going there.

The service is good and professional. The staffs are cooperative and supportive too.

An ultimate professional office. Not like other government department. It looks n feels like a private corporate office. All the process are very fluent n simple. More than 20 counters help the processing go fast. Neat n clean. At first they will give u your token number, in the waiting loby they will call u. It will be displayed on a monitor. Next section they will verify ur document, take photo n process biometric details. Then next section they will verify the all data. N thats all.. u r done.One note they provide a passport cover for ₹450 & sms update service for ₹50. Both r optional.. not mandatory. No one will force u. Ignore the cover, but take that sms service. My recommendation.

Some staffs are very rude. They dont explain anything clearly later behaves rudely with you .I went there for my passport in 2017. Before going there I checked their YouTube video and there they never mentioned you have bring class 10 report.So when we went there the document verification behaved rudely with me and even mentioned that I lacked commonsense!what an odosity !Had I remembered his name I would have surely complained against him.The staffs are very rude I repeat. Just making your office look lavish and speaking English doesnt make you good service provider.My review was deleted but I am again posting it .

It is one of the best passport office in whole Kolkata. excellent service and helpful staff, special credit goes to the TCS staffs as they not only guide you through the process but also rectify the mistakes in form. Now lets come about the inside of the building, the office is beautifully decorated and full care of sanitation is been taken off. It is very easy to locate the building from outside but many get confused about the entrance as the main entrance is only for the staffs and the entrance which we need to take is at the back side of the building.

Extremely fast and efficient service. Ensure to fill up the form correctly and bring proper documents and the process will be completed soon. For new passports it may take some more time. Please arrive on time and ensure to keep 45-1hr in case there is a rush. Parking not available. Entry is at the back side behind Ruby General hospital and not on the main road side.

This is one of the fastest and smooth centre for passport. If you have all the required documents the the process is very easy there.This Centre has a very systematic process and a good verification system.The staff members behaved very well.If all process goes right then you can recieve your passport in 8 days like me.I recommend this centre for passport appointment if you are staying in kolkata.

The officials are really fast working and very friendly. They do not make you sweat and happily serve you.

If you reach on scheduled appointment time, the rest of the process will go smoothly. Mine took only 10 mins to complete all the formalities. Staffs are helpful, but for your convenience carry both original and xerox of those documents self attested.

Nowadays if I choose the date and time schedule, appointment automatically has been suspended regarding covid 19 restriction. Then why they allow to choose to fix the time and date slot and how do I know when this will working and not to cancelled the schedule appointment?

The place is located just at the Ruby crossing, but the entry gate is from.the backside. Though no one will have finding it as it is quite well known. There is a myth that passport and other government works take time. But it literally took hardly 15-20 minutes to complete the whole procedure. The working is fast as well as the stuffs are well behaved and adequate.

I made my first passport in the 2001 and understand the pain of making passport but now the government has outsourced this process and made our life easy. Previously you have to stand in que for hours but now this appointment system is saving lots of time for us. Thank you government for privatizing this and making it easy. Very efficient and swift service provided. After the security check at the entrance, the entire process is very streamlined and swift. All staff are very professional and courteous.Just make sure to enter on time slot alloted to you and follow the rules (like not taking pictures or videos inside and reporting 15 mins before your time slot)The entire process should take anywhere between 30-50 mins counting the security checks. Highly impressed by the entire process.

Excellent service! The actual process took hardly 30 minutes. No need to arrive very early; you will be allowed inside only at the reporting time mentioned in your appointment form. Just ensure that you are wearing mask and carrying a sanitizer. I received my reissued passport in less than 2 days! (my application was Normal and not Tatkal) The TCS staff and the security staff were very helpful.

I was not aware of the token system they have, instead of explaining they said you will never get passport in your life. Not only that, they cancelled my slot and told me to go out and come again after waiting for 10-15 min when your token is called again. I have never seen such a filthy people, treating common people so badly. There APO is not ready to listen. God can only do justice with these people 😔. This is the side effect of government servant, they dont deserve job or respect.Majority of people specifically TCS guys are good and helpful. Government officials are sh/+s....

Service of passport seva Kolkata is superb. No hassle for renewing passport. But renewal after 20 years is so easy but at my age of 78 years I am asked to go to PS and submit copies of Aadhar, voter, pan cards not only for me but also for my wife, PPO, Proof of ownership of my flat, passport cancelled, etc.I am a Pronam-Police member. Two persons of same PS visited us on 3rd of this month and had photo with us. Im unable to undergo such strain. The SI refuses to visit us.

The first thing you will notice when you reach this place is they will only allow people with masks, sanitiser and application form (they are really strict about this). From there you will be directed inside. The process itself is really fast and took me about an hour or less to go through the entire thing). One thing that strikes out the most is how fast and polite they are. I asked pretty inane questions but they were patient with me even when they had to repeat their answers several times.

This PSK is well equipped with TCS employees for fast service.For entry one needs to get in from the rear gate behind the building.There are few steps in the process.1) Show your documents at the enquiry2) Then you proceed to counter A3) Then to the counter B for verification4) This the last step that is counter CThe whole process takes hardly 30 mins, due to the swift working of the staffs.

The service is very smooth. Staff at PSK are very much active and they know and do their job well. If you have all the necessary documents in original as well as photocopy, the verification process will be really fast. Follow the instructions of the staff at PSK for a hassle free experience. Wear a mask + carry a sanitizer.You need your passport application print out (one copy), address proof (original & one xerox copy), date of birth proof (original & one xerox copy) and non-ERC certificate.Details:Address proof/DOB proof: Aadhaar Card/Letter, Voter Id etc.Non-ERC certificate: Matriculation or higher educational certificates.***The detailed list of acceptable documents can be found one the gov website***And thats it!NOW ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE:The entire process took 20-25 minutes. No long queues or wait time. Be there on the reporting time and the process would take 30 mins max (even on a crowded day).Some of the staff are very rude TBH, probably because of the repetitive nature of their jobs. So expect people being impatient & impolite with you. They are possibly working with targets hence try to understand their frustration so that you can have a positive attitude about this.At the end, youd receive a text on your phone confirming the police verification. Customer services At A counter are working for Tata group and they divert your mind to sale their passport purse worth Rs 500 ,which is not compulsory in case of passport.So be alert to buy those purse which you find outside in 100 Rs easily.In my case I have no extra money so she sent me to take from ATM. Which is not necessary..

You should reach Ruby Hospital and go to Ananadapur Road. The entry gate of passport seva kendra back side of the Ruby Hospital Building.

Worst thing is telling lies about the passport cover and stealing 500 rs from public. If anyone refuses to take it, they are harrased by stopping their next details processing. This is like a bribe. Passport is very good quality and dont need any cover. But this employees are telling lie about digital printing etc and stealing public money.

Very quick service provided by the PSK staffs. Should be enter before 30 mins of appointment time . Please keep the self attested photocopy & original documents (aadhaar card, voter id card, pan card, qualification certificate /marksheet ) . ₹500 need for lether passport with SMS service . Within 30 to 45 mins all procedures are completed .

Its an important place for all services regards to changes in Indian passport that may be for address or say picture. The staff is quite helpful.

The place is good.The inside of the office is fantastic...the staffs are really good and the work therefore happens fast and smooth.But there is one problem that needs to be fixed.Anyone who accompanies the candidate who goes inside for the appointment and waits outside the office has to bear the heat and stand beside a dirty drainage.

Location is good, but gets highly congested due to huge number of applicants( and the accompanying family members) everyday. There is no place to park cars and you may need to park your car far. Generally, you will get the call based on the category number your application has, so you may have to wait an hour later than the time scheduled in your appointment letter. The building is good, and there is a photocopy/xerox shop inside in case you need to photocopy any document you need to submit. If you are visiting during the COVID pandemic, dont forget to bring the sanitizer, as without it no entry is being permitted. The processing is timely, but Tattkal processing is not as fast as you would assume ( I did it, and the process still took 2 hours long). Also the Tattkal processing papers say that a further police verification is not required, but the processing in this PSK did forward my documents for a further police verification step, so I find the procedurals in this PSK a bit weird, as they go beyond the guidelines.

I had an appointment today at 9:15, submitted papers around 09:30, photograph and fingerprints were taken at 09:35, final verification was done within 10:00 am, left premises at 10:10 am. And in the afternoon, around 04:00 pm , I got an sms saying my passport is dispatched. Astonished, faster than my thoughts. Bravo to Ministry of External Affairs, for this true reform at a government office.

Very arrogant mindset of few staffs. As if they are doing favor. Especially Mr. Bhuiya in the B section is very arrogant. He harassed people. Also, they do not accept IT return as address proof which is permissible as per Govt. norms. Not only that, in overall place people try to earn or snatch money by threating people with the help of Government machinery. Overall very disappointing. Security staffs also beg money in the entrance when no other people are available. In payment counter they only accept cash. Why cash? just to encourage corruption? Why not online or digital payment accepted? Very sad.

The people in passport office are very helpful and cooperative.

PSK Office Kolkata is located just on the stoppage of Ruby General Hospital, however they do not let anyone enter from the front gate except the employees working over there , so if you are the one visiting there for the passport purpose take the road beside the Ruby General Hospital and then take a turn from the first street on the left hand side behind Ruby Hospital.If you are going there in this pandemic situation please do carry a surgical mask as well as pocket sanitizer otherwise the securities over there wont allow you to enter there without this two and you have to purchase it with double amount in front of the gate.Parking is allowed in front of the second gate, which is paid and the amount is fixed for Rs. 30 despite how many hours it may take.Coming to the inside of the PSK Office its very systematic, there is a paid xerox machine as well as Cafe Coffee Day inside the premise. People going there for fresh passport keep a Self-Attested Xerox copy of Aadhaar, PAN and Voter ready with the application form and Appointment form showing the Batch Number and Sequence Number.

Its really a wonderful experience, they followed the sequential order and maintain the crowd and complete the passport work as soon as possible

Present inbetween Desun hospital and Ruby hospital. Easily noticable under normal traffic conditions. The places very well maintained and every day lots of people visit there for their passport verifications. The staffs are very helpful. There are three sections namely A,B,C through where one has to go for the completion of the same.Considering all the facts 5 stars 🌟 is just perfect for this place.

Dear Sir/Madam,I am very much disappointed and harrased by miscommunication of Tatkal counter staff in PSK, Akash Tower, Kolkata.Have applied for Tatkal on 2nd Nov 2020 online and paid Rs. 1500/- for primary fee and scheduled for appoinment in 3rd Nov 2020 however the counter person has ignored to collect my doccuments and did not provided token number. First he asked for Educational documents, VID, PAN and then asked for Adhaar which was as per my prior marriage surname, then he asked for Bank passbook, after submitting of Bank Passbook again he asked to go to bank to up-to-date transaction page because all documents are ok on Bank passbook is need to be submitted because my Adhaar name is not updated, again I went to bank which was very far from the PSK office and when again visited with the Updated bank passbook page, the counter boy stated that my PAN card is not acceptable because it has the name as per prior to my marriage. Very much harrasement I have faced today, however he asked me to visit RPO, Kolkata and then change my application mode from Tatkal to Normal. I have called customer service desk of Passport Seva and they has stated that without any file number to visit in RPO is not possible and PSK will provide the edit option for my Online profile submission in Passport Seva website, where I can change the mode from Tatkal to Normal however the PSK did not provided any support or valid information for the same in a professional or proper manner. The counter person bahaves so badly and asked security to get out my husband from the office when my husband has protested against the ignorance behavior of the counter boy who was very much unprofessional and with bad manner. Now what should I do? PSK asking to visit RPO without any assistance of edit my profile or without giving any File number and RPO also need file number for an appoinment.Please help and suggest.@CC: RPO Kolkata

The thing which i found weird was carry your own sanitizer.. I did not see a single bottle of a sanitizer in all the sections i visited.Its ridiculous.And secondly they are unnecessarily charging 50 rupees for an SMS even after paying 1500 processing fee online.This makes no sense at all.Quite surprised by such toxic systems.

This place is situated at the ground floor of the building,AKASH TOWER and it is just beside of the Ruby General Hospital. Nice place to find easily. But the entrance is from the behind gate of this building. Here you get smooth and fast service from all well behaved person. Documents verification for passport is done in hardly 15-30 minutes(I got this service). You can go there from anywhere like Baligaunge,Garia, Saltlake. Just take right bus or car towards ruby bus stop. Happy journey !

The office building is just along the main road, which is clearly visible and stands out. It the building beside the Ruby general hospital. But the entrance to the passport seva kendra kolkata is from the back gate, you wont be allowed to enter from the front gate. Take the side road, walk for 3-5mins, crossing the Ruby hospital, you will come across another road leading towards the back gate running along a bazar area, you will find many parked vehicles and people waiting outside. For convenience ask any security guards along the road, they will show you the way. Reaching the place the security will ask for time of visit, and if you have sanitizer with you. Mask and sanitizer are mandatory to enter the complex. You have to enter your name and then stand in a line maintaining social distancing norms. Before entering the building they will check your temp with a thermal gun and also ask for if you have sanitizer. After entering you have to get your token no. from the counter, where you have to show your self attested xeroxed documents. Next according to token no. you will be redirected to counter A where your documents will be verified and pictures and finger prints taken. And again you will be redirected to another counter where, wait in the waiting area, they will call your name. Here they will finally ask you to fill up a form, and you are done with your work.
