The Howrah Bridge is located between the twin cities of Howrah and Kolkata in West Bengal, India. The 705m long and 30m wide bridge was built in 1943 over the Hooghly River. It is also known as Rabindra Setu in June 1965. The bridge is commonly called Howrah Bridge.It is bueautyfully designed.Everyday visitors came there.The bridge carries a daily traffic of around 80,000 vehicles.Howrah Bridge is the sixth longest cantilever bridge in the world.
