Once the wedding is over, all that remains is memories. After doing extensive research, I finalized Qpid Event Photography to cover our wedding festivities and it was indeed one of the best choices I had made. Living in the US, every conversation/meeting happened over phone and not once did they make us feel the distance. Debarghya Da was available, ALWAYS!! He was super prompt with responses. Every other vendor I had spoken to was more considered about money, but Qpid was different. It was very evident that they were interested in creating good work. Not once did they ask for advance or money post the wedding. Whenever we asked them about transferring money, Debarghya da said- “Let us get the work done, we will think about money later.” The prices they quote is unbelievable for the services they provide, when you compare them to their contemporaries.I met the team on the day of my first function and the whole team was extremely courteous, accommodating with requests and sensitive when they needed to be. Shooting for pictures requires being comfortable around the photographers and within minutes of knowing them, they felt like our own. We never felt awkward posing for pictures. Our wedding was at very late in the night but the whole team had the same energy and zeal for the shooting pictures they had at the start of the day.The photos were delivered to us in 3-4 days’ time (which was unreal). They have captured every single moment so beautifully. The smiles, tears and everything in between! With the wedding video, they truly surpassed our expectations. It was more beautiful that I had ever imagined. Every song that they had selected was beautiful and seemed so apt. They made ordinary places look extraordinary in the video. I am still not over the video; I watch it whenever I feel low, and it instantly lifts my spirits. I would also like to share an incident here wherein, when the video was almost ready, I asked them if they could add something that would mean a lot to me, knowing well that they could rightfully refuse. Much to my surprise, they obliged re-edited a portion, for which I am forever grateful to them. This just shows how much they care about their clients.I am still in touch with Debarghya Da and I get as much respect from him today,months after the wedding, as I did when I spoke to him for the first time. My only regret is that in all the hustle, I did not click a picture with the team. I wish them all the very best for a very bright future ahead. When my sibling or cousins get married, I am definitely going back to them!

Ill get into stereotypes, and will admit that like most girls, wedding was my most special dream. And Qpid treated it as a dream. They shot my pre-wedding video and photos in a way unimaginable. Same goes for the wedding. What colour, what eyes, what a team! So so special. Ill never forget you people. Thank you

Once in a while, Right in the middle of an ordinary life, Love gives us a fairy tale.And thank you Qpid Event Photography, for writing this tale in the most beautiful way possible.We nurture our good memories and you have given us probably hundreds of it.Starting from the first meeting over the coffee in one of the south kolkata CCDs with Tanmoyda to the final delivery of beautiful designed album it was an amazing journey with them.It was not easy to search for a perfect photography team and it took us months to come to a firm decision, but the wait was worth the results. Our pre wedding photoshoots were perfectly managed and the experience and dedication of the team could be easily seen in the photographes. There was not a single photograph which was down our expectations. We wanted our photos to be shooted at specific locations and thanks to Samannay and Baban we got them captured as per our wish. Our family and friends highly appreciated the photos and the edits involved.Then came our wedding day and thanks to Debarghya for assembling the best team possible for the job. We have choosen Bardhaman Rajbari as our wedding venue which portrays Bengali culture and the Qpid team was able to figure out the bright culture in the photos. They got some really great candids,still photos of every special & important moments even amidst many critical situations.After that, our reception was at Lilabati Resort and the team used its grandeur to its fullest. There was not a single moment that they missed. We thank Anubhab, Shakya, Avik and Abir for being present all the time and never miss a moment. Debarghya also made a special appearance at our wedding.They also made our wedding trailer with proper use of appropriate songs which was majestic, to say the least. It was so much beautiful and the professionalism of the team could be seen straight through in the official wedding video.All of our friends and family appreciated these a lot . A few days ago, we received our wedding album just on time and it was so much nostalgic to see and relive those precious moments once again.While looking at the whole project, there was not a single thing we regret, and could have not asked for anything better. It was all that we dreamt of.To sum it up, Qpid does what it promises.A team of perfectionists and professionals who are extremely punctual as well as effiecient & friendly enough to comfort us behind the lens.I would definitely love to see them grow as a team and in their work . Hi everyone!! With all these corona n lockdown I didn’t want to share my experience with my wedding photographer till now! But as many have started getting married again and many will in the coming months, i feel I should worn you about this most important thing in your marriage- the photographer!I had booked Qpid event photography for my marriage! I had booked a package of 90k which included iburobhaat, mehendi, haldi, marriage, bidaai, boron, bouhaat, sangeet and reception! This was a modified package as they were covering all these from just my side. Generally if u see their packages it show 90k for both side coverage! But for me they didn’t hv to cover my husband’s iburobhaat n haldi instead they had promised to cover bouhaat and sangeet!Now let me tell you what happened on my big day! Till my haldi everything went fine! During my marriage event most of the time cameraman was missing n we had to search for them. During sindoor daan they wanted to retake the shoot! I don’t know how cn sindoor daan be twice for them to retake.. still we cooperated! Post marriage i told them specifically to come early next day by 7am as the hotel we were staying the night had great views n was situated by the ganges and i wanted to get good shots there becoz during the marriage event not much pics could be taken as relatives kept pouring in! Next morning till 9:30 am there was no show of any cameraman! Finally after many calls 2 young boys who didn’t even know how to hold a camera properly arrived! The main cameraman could come as he had injured his feet somehow! So these two boys took pics which were worse even the my mobile pics! We had to guide them as to how they show take the pics.. the frames, the angles, etc. Still they could hardly click 6-7 pics which r not of album quality! Then during my ashirvaad n bidaai they were busy talking on phone n a few clicks here n there from angles were neither the people who were blessing nor us were clearly visible! And oh yes! Absolutely no pics of me getting in the car n leaving (bidaai)!Then comes the boron where they were supposed be there by 5pm. By 4:30pm the manager of Qpid event photography- Debarghya call s and says they are cancelling on us. Why? Well becoz I had expressed to him my grievance that his cameraman were not putting effort and I don’t expect this to happen during the upcoming events!I was in tears as to how to arrange a cameraman in that 30 mins! Within all these Debarghya did not fail to threaten us! He told us to give him the entire money online... we refused! We said we will give the money once the photos r delivered! But he said, “ apnara Dumdum e thaken to.. dekhe nebo”!! Who expects a threat during their marriage?? I started crying n begging him not the do this to me.. that this day is never gonna come in my life again! Guess his reply? “WE DONT CARE! Don’t show us ur tears!”Rest u can guess what happened! I had no cameraman for next few events! Directly on my reception evening a friend who is passionate about photography helped us out by sending 2 of his frnds! Somehow i manged to get few pics of my reception!After my marriage was over i told my father the entire drama.. he called up debargya n came to a settlement.. we paid 45k for unedited raw photos, small video clips unedited, unorganised!I got married on march 11th 2020... n till date I don’t hv a video of my marriage.. or proper edited photos!This is my genuine request to every girl out their that if u dont want to experience wat I went through avoid QPID EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY at all costs!! Coz ur memories are special to you!!
