First time I saw Avismita and her team’s work was during my cousin’s wedding and was very impressed by the outcome. So when it came to our wedding a year later, I had no doubt that I wanted Charcoal & Vermilion to capture every moment of our special day. And believe me we weren’t at all disappointed by the outcome of the album or the cinematography. The best part about Avismita and her team is that you don’t need to guide them at all, they know their job really well and so that leaves the bride and the groom to be as candid as possible and that’s when magic happens. It was really a great experience. They recently covered my cousins wedding and it was so beautiful!! If you want to go for a candid wedding album, then charcoal and vermillion should top your lists!

I have seen some really good work from this team and heard great reviews from friends but unfortunately didn’t get the same quality of work for my wedding - a lot of important family members and candid shots were missed, many overexposure photos that had to be discarded. Looking into why mine was done differently I realized that the team wasn’t entirely the same as my friend’s, so I’d recommend others to research the good photographers on her team and request their time beforehand. The editing process could be less tedious, solved over a phone call, instead of the multiple back and forth over messages.That being said, mine could be a one off experience. Otherwise they are a decent, well-mannered team with good editing and photography skills.

I chanced upon Charcoal and Vermillions Instagram handle while looking for a photography team to cover my wedding and found their photos very relevant to the wedding moments. So I contacted them and got them to cover our wedding. We have now received the album and the video, which look splendid and in line with your expectations! First off all they are very sincere, professional and punctual regarding their work..they capture every tiny little magic moments with family and friends and always keen to explore more.. every wedding is different from one another and so their work is.. despite having almost same rituals dresscode in a Bengali wedding everytime they manage to bring something new and extraordinary be it the frames, background and anything..last but not the least,Avismita is not someone who would turn down a person having budget issues..I myself had opted for some Functions without the videography and she managed to do so according to our need and budget as per the convenience of both the sides..
