My wife and I and our son are from Catawba county and was sent to Winston-Salem to this sorry hospital we got here at 1am cause my son has broke his arm remind yall my son is not even 2 yet but anyways got here at 1am and its almost 7 now and the still havent got him to surgery yet and has not eat since 3pm yesterday and told them this and they keep telling us he cant eat cause they have to put him under for the surgery and aint seen a doctor or nurse since 2am point to my story is this place is the shittyest hospital ever

I had a very bad experience. I am posting it for others benefit who are like me. I should not have gone to the emergency rather should have gone to urgent care, it’s my ignorance. But I have told the receptionist, the person who took vitals, and the doctor too, that it is not an emergency and came here to take x-ray only. If these people are not money minded, they should have guided me to go to main hospital entrance or advised me to go urgent care. They didn’t do and they made us to wait in the emergency room for 3 hours, so they can charge 1 day room charges, and took x-ray. And they charged in $1000s to my insurance and most of them is out of pocket. Is this called emergency care??? Totally money oriented, and I advice to visit emergency only if it’s a serious issue.. none of them there will guide you if you don’t know the difference.

I’ve had to bring my daughter here twice. Both times, we’ve had a negative experience. Nobody seems to really care and they pretty much blow off your concerns. The wait time is insane. I understand it’s busy and there are lots of pressing issues but it does not help when you see the staff standing around, laughing and gossiping. The nicest person we’ve been in contact with both times has been the receptionist. She is the most polite and friendliest staff member out of everyone we’ve been in contact with.

I Came In With A nurse maid elbow On My 23month Old. At The Time, I Had No Idea What It Was Or WhatI Did To Cause It.Long Story Short We Were In And Out Quickly. The Doctors Didnt Run Any Unnecessary Tests Or Anything. Very, VERY Happy

Thank you to all the staff at brenners nicu for giving my son a fighting chance. Wesley is thriving and growing bigger everyday, he’s spoiled rotten, he loves music, he loves to listen to stories and loves to complain all day long. He’s a happy healthy baby boy always curious about what’s going on around him, he loves nap time with his puppies and all of this made possible by your nicu staff. We want to personally thank his primary nurse Anna for showing him love everyday and treating him as her own baby. You’ll forever be apart of our family and you’ll always have a special place in wesleys life we will tell him about you everyday. We only hope now we can give back to brenners in anyway we can. They have told my wife and I for 3 days that our baby is fine and hes doing great and keep telling us they want to hold him one more night and one more night and its been over 48 hours and theyve done nothing but say hes doing great and that nothing is wrong with him. Theyre trying to run up our bill for nothing. Rude people working here who are only interested in money.

Floors were dirty in room as if they dont clean properly. front desk registration lady was very nice and all nurse were good. Doctors rush through assessment and send you on your way.

I cant praise this place enough. Our daughter broke her clavicle and we were in and out in two hours. Probably because you cant really do anything for this type of break but from admitting to discharge it all ran extremely smooth.
