It has been always my favourite place because of fresh air accessibility ... people can go there and sit on the nicely trimmed grass.. few hooligans sometimes may disturb you while playing or else its too good.

The ground is adjacent to Dhakuria railway station.Ground is mainly occupied by local people playing crickets and football.It has a good cricket camp for young cricketers which is run by good coaches.The ground is used for playing soft or hardball cricket.The newly prepared turf is fantastic.Fairly insulation in surface and a but untidiness is the reason of reducing one star.

It is near to Dhakuria Railway platform. Its a football field with a local gym & club house for sports and other activities. The field is big enough for football and cricket and other sports. Some local schools also hold their annual sports in this field. This place is more or less well maintained..

Big ground

First let me get something straight. There are two adjacent structures, Tanupukur Football field and Tanupukur Childrens Park. The small Childrens park has been renovated over and over again and feels pretty decent now to sit, except the traffic in front. The adjacent field is pretty huge and serves as a good hangout spot and playing field for all kinds of sports. There are also tournaments hosted here and a nearby Karate club uses this field for practice in the evening. There is also a gym in this park. Visitors needs to watch out for monsoons though, as this park turns pretty bad if it rains heavily, with thick mud and small holes of depressions, owing to the reduction of grass over the years.

Its a small cricket ground. Too small Leg and off side. Good neighbors because youll get your balls if it goes outside the park.

What a lovely place ;-)

A very big ground without any facelift or facilities. Visitors are many but infrastructure nothing. Needs urgent make up of facilities and cleanliness. Children play with football in a ground susceptible to accident. Only playground in a vast locality without any facility. It cant be called a park.

Good and nice ground

Its an open field to play any common sport of your choice. Usual tournaments and regular practice sessions maintains the warmth of the field. Morning/Evening walks by people of all group and an age old multi-gym alongside the field make it look all-rounder. Local municipality keep regular maintenance. All together, a great field to look for playing.
