It was a truly bangaliana experience after a long time. Apart from the food, from the interior design to staff behavior, everything was perfect. Surely a must visit place.

Had an amazing experience trying their Paila baisakh special thali. This thali has everything a bengali can ask for. Ilish bhetki chingri mutton you ask for it and its here. The thali is priced Rs 899 without ilish and 1199 with ilish. I.also tried their Daab ilish, Sam Panna and Lichu lonka shorbot from the A la carte menu. Those are just amazing. Overall this place deserves your time if your love bengali cuisine.

The food lacks the consistency in taste..... The mutton was tender but not flavourful. The fish in the mustard gravry was a bit overcooked. However Shukto and paneer dhokar dalna was really good. The bhaja muger dal was having a overpowering taste of turmeric which was absolutely undesirable. The service was spot on ..... But in my opinion this restaurant is an average Bengali restaurant.

I love their special chicken. Taste was really good. When I saw radhavallabhi in their menu and I was like no man I cannot skip these. Staffs were very good.

About average. Food is not that much tasty. Pulao is not at all tasty. Menu options are not very wide. I order 2 bhetki fry with that they provided only 1onion slice & 2 slice of cucumber. I dont know they are sort on salad may be. If this is how they serve then i am disappointed on kitchen. Service Staff behaviour is very good & polite. So for service i will rate 4star. But for food i will rate 3star. Price is ok.

This is one of the best pocket friendly bengali cuisine restaurant I have ever visited. Food quality was awesome, nice ambience as well.

Before talking about ambience, service and food, I must mention Debanjan Da. He is a wonderful host. Even in off time their service is fast. Ambience is good. And the food is awesome. Pick any random item from the menu, you will not be disappointed. The dishes were so mouth watering that I forgot to take pictures and add it in this review.

Stylish decor. Located on Purna Das Road. Easily accessible. They have traditional Bengali Cuisine offerings as well as some fusion dishes. Food is very well cooked and presented. Ambience is well lit, spacious and service is extremely courteous. Try their signature chicken, mutton and fish preparations as well an innovative twist on traditional chicken lollipops. Reasonably priced.

Visited the restaurant today with my mother & husband for lunch. The place was full & we had to wait for about 15 minutes to get a table but it was absolutely worth it. We placed an order for 3 thalis, 2 Fish & 1 Chicken / Mutton. The waiter who took our order was excellent with his customer service skills and he was even better being a sales man. He managed to sell us things we were not sure of & it was the best decision ever.The food was excellent & the 3 of us over ate. I enjoyed everything that was on my plate. I would rate this place 10 / 10.Guess what - We r going back to the place for dinner.

The outlet is a cramped one so there is no scope of social distancing much. We went for lunch & found they were serving both buffet & ala carte. Buffet is priced at 850+taxes. They tried to push for buffet however we settled for ala carte. The buffer as far as I could recall contained luchi, cholar dal, 1 veg, rice, bhetki paturi, chitol tikka, chicken bhaja moshla, sweet. I dont think mutton was there. We were craving for mutton & we dont eat much so settled for ala carte. Now there is a sales catch here. The chicken mutton thali which was priced at 375 have been removed from restaurant ala carte menu. The one I have attached here is a leaflet available at the entrance but the menu they will provide when you dine in, will have this thali missing, of course because, otherwise people wont go for the buffet. To me if they had kept this in menu, most people would have gone for it. This would have been most economical than the others. Anyway they seem to have removed it now. Bad luck for us. Kochi pathar jhol we had was okay, pretty much like the one we have at home. Rice quantity is sufficient for one. Paturi is good just that the fish size provided was small. Another saddening fact is they are charging ₹47 for a kinley 1litre mineral water the MRP for which is ₹20. Overall experience is by and large okay.

Food is good, but still lacks that authentic taste of bangaliyana, I heard from my friends so tried this place. To my surprise it wasnt that good.. But still manageable specially the fish kalia which tastes like kasha chicken. Thick gravy but we know that fish gravies are not so thick and hell spicy same with mutton looked awesome taste average.

Very bad food not all but specially fishes. Very very baad not cooked properly and quality of the fishes are also very bad. Tasteless totally. Waste of money very disappointing.

As soon as you walk in you will forget the street you walked to come here as you are surrounded by movie themed artwork and music. All the plates and bowls have a clay finish making it look pretty authentic. We ordered kancha aam er sorbot and lichu link sorbot. Kancha aam er sorbot was bit on the sweeter side but lichu lonka sorbot was darn good. We decided to try the thalis. Being the Bengalis we are, we went with fish thalis with different fish options. Every items tasted different and didnt seem like a derivative of same curry. Things were bit on the sweeter side, more than we like but then again west bengalis (us) are notorious with chini in their cooking. I have to mention that while choosing thali you can choose either plain rice or pulao and in case of pulao certain items dont go very well, for example, sukto. Your thali also comes with chatni, papad and rosogolla so we had no more appetite for separate dessert dishes but few of them looked interesting in the menu. People who are serving the food are patient and courteous and make sure you are taken care of. We will love to visit again. We enjoyed the Bengali fine dining experience as it should be.

Had the ₹849 yesterday. Will clarify few things for all.Its a sit down buffet,but everything is indeed unlimited.If you are going with an intention to eat worth ur money, do not. Every starter is breaded and will fill ur stomach, and I felt the food had soda as well. The starters do not have adequate meat as well.If you love fusion food and want to go there only for it, you should ideally opt for a la cart. The items which stood out were two of the welcome drinks. Bhetki aamsottor chop, koraisoti r chop was good as well but its what u would expect it to be.From the main course the mutton was good, and the chitol tikka masala was good. The bhetki paturi was not at all edible, the fish was fresh but its a fusion gone wrong.The deserts are not at all good, the rosogolla is amazing. Chatni below average, bread pudding Mishti doi flavorless and the himsagar chocochip pudding was made with slice and not real mangoes.The place is over hyped, under staffed.

Hadnt have a gravy like this in ages! The shorshe r jhol was bomb. The fish couldve been a little softer though.The Saptapadi Abhinaba Murgi was suggested by the servers. It was an okayish dish. They can work on the flavours. Although maybe If I had this before the shorshe r jhol it would have tasted better.The service was quick and the staff was very welcoming. Made my day!

This place is very nice. The atmosphere is very good and if you are a bengali... Then its perfect. The food is really good. But the starters are not as good as the main dishes. I personally think lichu lonka sorbot, kacha am panar sorbat egulo must try.and in thalis the special fish thali is awesome. If you like to spend your lunch time with your family ,mainly with your parents then this is definitely a great place to go.

My first visit to this amazing Bengali cuisine restaurant. I loved the ambiance, the staff and the food above all. Everyone was very welcoming and they really made us feel at home. The food is superb. It is very easy going on your tummy even at night. Finally made it to this restaurant after hearing about it for some time, felt like a breath of fresh Bengali air considering the food options and décor.Sandeep Mondol (Manager) was very helpful in making suggestion and taming down the heat by not making the dishes spicy.The Mûrir Fish Sticks was such an innovative appetiser for us, most places simply massacre fusion recipes but not here.Saptapadi Special Thali was not on the menu but one can request for it to me made and it was divine and the Pulao and Prawns were no less than what is served at Aaheli or 6 Ballygunge Place.The fusion Custard was a splendid end to this fantastic meal wherein old Bengali film songs played softly and we could feel that we were having lunch with both Uttam Kumar and Suchitra.Can’t recommend this place enough for those wanting a taste of both Bengali film nostalgia along with authentic food.

A very nice place to try Bengali cuisines. Tastes were like home cooked food. Staffs were courteous and knowledgeable about their food. We tried Muri fish in starter as suggested by staff. It was very good. In drinks we ordered aam pora sorbat and lichu Lanka sarbat, both were awesome. Second one was really different. Then we ordered dhokar dalna, chitol muittha, Mishti polao, achari gondhoraj chicken, luchi and one fish thali. Fish is sufficient for one. They serves one katla recipe and one panda/chingri/ilish of your choice. Rice/ polao. Dhokar dalna and chitol muittha was like home cooked one. Not spicy but still delicious. Last we had patisapta ice cream as dessert. It was a good one too

We ordered litchi chilly sharbat which was nice.. then posto boda which was okay. Then in main course we ordered veg thali.. i felt the aaloo phoolgobhi was slightly stale... the other vegies were a bit sweet... i know bengali food had little amount of sugar but sugar is added to give good color to the food and not to make it a dessert... in desert they gave us misti dahi chatni and papad. They served papad as part of dessert... papad tasted like it was fried in same oil which was used to fry fish... being a vegetarian i did not liked that... the way mishti dahi was served it looked like they were out of stock and served jist 2 spoons... so it was a disappointing place specially after having high recomendation... decor was nice. Not a big place...
