The food was quite good and tasty. Although the ambience was lacking a bit but the behaviour of the staffs was very pleasant but the restaurant needs a bit tidying up

I tried the special thali and its worth the price. They provide so many item and all are delicious. They have a new flavour of all food which is simple but testy. You can see the menu online and try it. Vetki paturi is one of the best item. The special thali is sufficient for two people as per my opinion 😀

Yesterday, was visited kolkata Rajbari... just woow and yummy food... food quality was awesome.. amazed ambience its something defferent to other restaurants.. Good behavior of staff. The owner is good sense of humor.. very polite person... everybody must go to the kolkata rajbari

The portion of the mutton in Rs.520 thali is not adequate, it is really small in size, not up to the mark but 1 strange thing when You Tubers visit the restaurant, they offer them 3 large pcs of mutton in that particular thali to promote their restaurant. This is absolutely unfair and illogical. When I directly called and asked them about the matter they completely ignored and disagreed it. Very dissapointing.

Nice restaurant tbh for any small to medium family gathering and serves delicious dishes...the workers are pretty friendly in nature and well mannered...the place is pretty cozy even if its cold outside and the location is pretty good too,near to the main road...parking is available at a very small distance if you wish to go by car...overall its a nice place to hang out with your people...

The food is good! A bit expensive, but good. The best option to go for is the thali — it gives you a taste of their offerings at a decent price, nearly enough for 2 people.

I didnt find the food great. Koraishutir kochuris are hard. Fish cutlet was average. Fulkopi was actually good. Decent ambience, quite spacious place. Good value for money.

We had ordered home delivery of Poila Baisakh Lunch. The food was delivered on time.Each and every item was prepared with care and tasted very appetising.The quality of mutton,fish and chicken was of good quality.The only shortcoming was perhaps a lot of oil they had used in their preparations. On the whole the food was very enjoyable

We had special thali. Only the luchi chholar daal and paturi was fresh. Rest of the items was not fresh, probably these were leftover of previous days. Definitely not recommended.

Since I do not stay at Kolkata, I make it a point to visit this place every time when I visit the city.I like the attire of the waiters (punjabi-pyjama) which immediately gives you a grand bengali feeling. When it comes to food, I make it sure that I have Bhhat, Shona Moong dal with chingri, jhoori alu bhaja, doi maach and dhakai chicken with bata masala.Even if I prefer to throw a treat to my friends and family members, I prefer this place.Every time, we come out with a smile and a satisfied tummy.

Giving 4 cz there food tested very good but they dont maintain higiene properly

Chicken was not fresh. It seems they bought it 3-4 days back and kept in refrigerator and cooked it when ordered.Quantity of food is very low, a single dish poluo or rice hardly goes for one people and quality is also not upto the mark. So, it is not recommended to have lunch or dinner.

Be careful in case of take away. Today I ordered online through zomato self service. While I went to collect the food, they told that, they dont have the item even if they took the order. They didnt admitted mistake and told that, it is impossible to check every order. The miss behaved and insisted to take other dish of their wish. After all this we found they even served less amount of a dish i.e. 1 plate instead of 2 for another dish.

Rajbarir khawa is a family dine out where one can experience mouth watering Bengali delicacies in reasonable price. 500/ head would be the costing. I would specially recommend the basanti polau,mutton and bhetki paturi.

This is an edited review.On 11 October 2017, ordered take way chicken jhol (4 plates 4 pcs @180/- each) along with other dishes. That was one of the worst chicken had in many years. Chicken pieces was dry and hard, obviously not fresh. It probably was precooked frozen chicken pieces boiled in gravy. Very humiliating in front of office guests. Attaching bill.Advice:Please avoid going there in week days. They offer leftovers from weekends. Please ensure you get fresh foods before ordering.

Mutton was hard and semi cooked. Chanar dalna was also not fresh.

Went to this place yesterday for lunch. The quantity and quality of the food served here is far less compared to the price they charge. The taste, variety and flavour of the items are way too ordinary compared to the hefty prices they charge. The service boys are well behaved, polite, but inexperienced. The ambience of the dining space is modest. The air conditioning system is very inadequate and not well planned. The worst thing about this place is the washroom and wash basins — just pathetic! Felt like a fool having gone to this place expecting a good dining experience. Sorry, next time I am planning a dinner with friends and family, I am not going back to this place.

The go to place or order for Survey Park and Santoshpur area. Food is good, having tried it for 8 to 10 times...never was food bad. Tasty and nice. It is on the spicier side but if you convey less spice they make it. Recommended.

They serve Bengali cuisines only. Foods are tasty, friendly staffs though not much trained and professional. Rates are moderate. Foreigners may taste Bengali cuisine at a cheap rate. But the washroom is poor and kitchen condition is horrible. Tips : ask the waiter whether the dish you intend to order is fresh or not.

Overrated Place. Do not have the capacity to handle crowd. Too much waiting time. Inefficient Staff.Now a days, almost every restaurant is providing good quality of food. But these small factors make restaurant popular.Not recommended to visit specially on weekends. It will certainly spoil your specious time.

I ordered fish thali , which was served in copper plate and glass. Food was good not best , still it was good . I need to remind them of begun bhaja they missed that. And the staff are very slow . They are just not around,we need to call them .I feel they should also need to improve the service quality and food quality both

Purchased Basanti Pulao and mutton kasha combo from food festival which are okay but can be a bit better.Ordered karaishutir kachuri with cholar dal and large kachuri with alur dam through Swiggy.There was no karaishuti inside also large kachuri have almost no stuffing inside it.Both are small in size and very ordinary quality in taste.Cholar dal and alur dam are less in quantity,very spicy and tastes are okay but not worth mentioning.Expensive compared to food quality.

We had the Thali. There is a whole lotta food in the thali. But the pieces are limited, like for the prawn dish there is only one prawn. So of you are sharing the thali there would be confusion in sharing. But the pulao and fish fry can be easily shared.

Lovely food. I had ordered Basanti Pulao and Mutton Dak Bungalow for delivery. The delivery was fast inspite of rain and storm.The Basanti Pulao is yummy yet less in oil. Mildly sweet with cashews and raisins.The Mutton Dak Bungalow is also good. Mildly spicy [i prefer spicy food], 2 generous pieces of mutton with an egg.The Basanti Pulao was packed in foil box, whereas the Mutton Dak Bungalow was in plastic container.I would be trying their other dishes too.

1. Ambience :- 3/5. The decor is really nice, copper plates and glasses gives a There AC was leaking and the waiters seemed too much carefree about it. The wash basins and the kitchen were just filthy.2. People :- 4/5 They were nice at least to us. Shout out to the young waiter who served us, he was great in his job.3. Food:- 2/5 . Bad Bad Bad. You ask for things like an omelette and they would say, they dont have it. We had a fish cutlet and it had a stale smell.We asked for mixed vegetable, that also the didnt have. A catla curry that came along with the thali was sweet.If your sole purpose to visit this place is food. Please go at your own risk. You had been warned!!

The food quality is very bad compared to the prices. Only the fish paturi is worth mentioning. The prawn malaikari and chicken kasha are aweful.
