New Garia is situated in between Garia and Baghajatin.... New Garia is a developing town. A standard abd beautiful place, there is a shopping mall named Spencers(Upohar). Schools, colleges, parks, playgrounds for kids are there also with a beautiful environment and most importantly, New Garia is very much famous for the Kavi Subhash Metro station- An important Metro station and Lanmark in New Garia. The area is modern but though there are wonderful green environment surrounding the whole area. The place is in all over good... need more improvement though.....................................................................................................................

New Garia is a South-Eastern Railway Zone station connected to Sealdah terminus.You can catch train of Sealdah route and south route diamond harbour, namkhana and canning from this station. This station is ideal for connecting to EM Bypass, Peerless hospital, Hiland park, etc. Auto, bus, and taxis are adequately available.Its​ mainly used by the daily commuters​ availing metro from Kavi Subhash.It is the only station of South kolkata where the Metro railway and Train Railway station are merged side by side. A totally covered station, clean and even escalators are available.

Perhaps the clearest railway station in sealdah south section, very well maintained, well connected to the city through EM bypass on one side and metro railway on the other side ( that goes to dumdum, the northern most fringe of metro). Also another metro line and its terminal station is under construction. Theres two platforms at present and another platform is ready for plying where this station will be the terminal station. Two stories above the ground level, escalators are there. Downside is the subway which becomes shallow lake during monsoon

New garia stationa looks good coz.. Its in little bit heighted from othe station, fresh feeling, good cleanliness and well maintained, not lots of nunber shops... Spacious, feel free environment and beside looks green green everwhere, l9cation is good, pppl are good by nature n behaviour which had his own stall in platforms.

The best good looking station in Sealdah South and amazingly there is no hawker. But a irctc food stall needed.

It is located between Bagha Jatin and Garia Station.It is a small,quite and clean station.From here people are also connected through metro,which is called Kabi Subhash Metro Station.Environment of this station is very good.This sation is well maintained.This is a quite station and the crowd of people here is very low.But many people travel from here through the metro.

Very neat and clean station.visited on 22nd Dec 2917. No announcement for the trains, though PA system is in place. Commuters face problem because of non indication of expected arrivals, new garia is a busy station. One escalator is also looked non operative. Good communication facilities with the main city, outside station public and private vehicles is easy to find.

It is very easy to catch metro from New Garia Rail Station.Except early morning all local train are stop in this station.

Very clean and nice station, the best thing about this station is, it is very near to the last metro station kavi subhas which enables to take metro train as well as local train to reach passengers destination. Many trains are frequent for both the directions.

Clean and calm station, seperate public urinal was there, just adjacent to kavi subhas Metro station, if you are coming for the first time you will get confused about the entrance between adjacent kavi subhas Metro station and new garia railway station...... If you get down from bus then To go to railway station you can take any four stairs present during the entrance to go to metro station you have to go at end of sub way

This is my 2nd favourite railway stations in Sealdah South Section. As all my tuitions are located on & around Garia, so I need to avail the metro from Kavi Subhash to reach Kavi Nazrul. Kavi Subhash is directly connected with the suburban railway station popularly known as New Garia.Availing metro is very comfortable but while catching a crowdy train from Jadabpur towards New Garia is a very harassing moment.Please provide local trains which will terminate at New Garia (Sealdah - New Garia Local) so that people staying near Dhakuria, Jadabpur & Bagha Jatin can reach their destinations comfortably.

Last metro station in the south direction , aka Kabi Subhash metro station.It also serves as an important means of communication from southern part of Kolkata to central and northern parts of the metropolitian city.

Doubtlessly useful metro station... I hope the extension of New Garia-Airport completes soon so people living on bypass corridor can heave a sigh of relief...

Well connected with bus, train, metro. Metro station kavi subhas just beside train station.This station is a small station in the Sealdah south section of the Sealdah Diamond Harbor, Sealdah Namkhana and Sealdah canning section. This station comes just after baghajatin in down direction and just after garia in up direction of trains. Some galloping trains donot stop here. Rest all the trains stop at this station. There is fully covered area for seating.

New Garia railway station in Garia Panchasayar area is one of most important railway station as merto connectivity is concern.After Dumdum metro station this is the only metro station which connects metro railway,it connects Kabi Subhas metro station and this is the last metro station towards Garia.New Garia station & Kabi subhash station both are very well connected to each other.

It is the last station as well as starting metro station namely Kavi Subhas Metro Station, and new garia station is a railway station from where diamond harbour, canning, kakdwip, laxmikantapur, and more go through thise station. And a bus stand situated out side the platform from where all bus, rickshaw, auto, taxi, ola, uber available. But after 10:30pm nothing is available at there except ola and uber.

This the station between Garia and Baghajatin. Exit of this station through subway. Bus Stand bedside this Station. Toto and Rickshaw also available from here. No announcement facility here from Rail. Currently work in progress for Platform number 3. From this platform train will run soon for down direction only.

Detrain here for Kavi Subhash Metro Stn. within the same complex. Spacious. Has escalators but they dont always work.Ticket counter inconveniently placed for passengers detraining from Metro.A ticket counter under ground would help immensely
