New Garia Station, which we know as Kavi Subhash Metro Station. It is one of the busiest stations. The use of some staff is bad enough. There is no such thing as cleanliness. We hope that the problems we are facing now will not happen in the future.

It was an amazing experience... The moment u enter the place u would evidently feel that this place is certainly any place but India.. Suggesting everyone to pay a visit to the Kolkata Metro...

I went there few days ago after lockdown, they have made a criteria of making a smart card , no more tokens are allowed, mask is mandatory to ride metro , and the fare to ride have been raised a bit , starting from about 18 to 25-30 as per distance. But you have to get a card made with 100rs only and get it recharge when your amount is consumed while traveling.!

Currently last or first metro station, located at new garia just beside Rail station is well connected with Garia, Nayabad, Mukundapur, Srinagar area.

For the regular Pasangers you are given ticket card but one time Pasangers like in a month for that metro doesnt have one time facility like previous type digital coins.. Then how come they will go in metro.

Lovely place in memory of poet shubhash (kavi shubhash). This metro station is govt property government metro runs over there and this station is also known as New Gariya Metro station. This is the last metro station for the metro starting from dumdum metro station. It takes around an hour to complete the journey from dumdum metro to Kavi Shubhash.

The easiest & shortest kolkata metro rail stretch is kavi Subhash to Satyajit Ray film institute, which is less than 2km.Even this simple Metro extension is purposely undone since 2011.New garia is a very backward, mosquito infested place, a deadly dengue prone area.No progress in the New Garia locality is foreseen without immediate Metro rail connectivity with E.M bypass👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
