Very neat and clean metro station. Currently has one station but Its going to be super junction. Three lines will meet here with two consecutive tunnels one above another. Just like Picadilly circus underground station in London.

Busiest and biggest metro station in Kolkata will handle more people in future once East West metro corridor gets operational and Joka metro starts running after overcoming all hurdles. What would happen then seems worrisome in view of already crammed space outside.

I think this Esplanade Metro Rail Station is 2nd busiest metro station in Kolkata. Esplanade Metro is situated at the main junction of Dharmatala, as well as the mid point of Kolkata. Maximum West Bengal Government Offices are situated in this area for which this metro is very helpful for government employees. Neat and clean station but very noisy area.
