Having a metro station connected the north-south corridor helps in commute, and reduces time highly. The entrance of the metro is a bit at far from BT road, otherwise its had all the facilities of a metro station

Beautiful Metro Station with a Lot of Foul Smell (mainly because the landfill is nearby). I am just showing the North Side View of the Metro Station. The station itself is very clean. You got a railway station attached. You have the Dunlop More, where you get buses to several top places in the city. However, the walk from the Dunlop More to the station is quite long. The Long walk is the part of the station itself. They made the station as far as possible from Dunlop More and the Panchamukhi Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple (Jai Shri Ram!), which is quite a stretch if you are having lots of luggage.

Fantastic station. Connects the entire north suburban area with the city. Only minus point is you have to walk a considerable distance from the station main gate to the road. But hats off to the architecture for building station in the most conjested joint of the city.

The Baranagar metro station is situated parallel to the Baranagar road train station. If coming from sodepur direction, the walkway to the station starts right before the Dunlop bridge and you have to walk around 200m to reach the station. The station premises are well maintained with luggage scanners and hand sanitizers. The platform is on the second floor and connected via escalators, stairs & lift.

Barahnagar metro station is a extension of the route Noapara - Kavi Subhas. The route has been extended from Noapara, to Dakshineswar.

Newly added station along the extension path from Noyapara to Dakhineswar. The place is little far from the main Dunlop more. Although elevator is present, it is difficult for old people to reach the station. The station complex is clean.

The newly inaugurated metro station is well maintained, properly hygiene and beautiful. Highly appreciated. Wall art everywhere. Although it took 11 long years to complete this 3.8km extension but it worth it full. Now people from Sodhepur and Dakshineswar could easily commute in metro where previously it was a lot difficulties earlier to avail metro from Noapara. Hope people would like it and its also our equal duty to maintain and keep it neat and clean. People should not spit tobacco or guthkha. This is not Bihar or UP.

Its an extended metro line from extreme south Kolkata to Northern Part outside of Kolkata. The station is enough well decorated. Also, very well maintained by the Kolkata Metro Rail Officials.

It is just adjacent to Dunlop More on B.T Road. The station has a very good Connectivity. However the way from B.T road to the Metro station is just like a small trek. Persons having problem in walking must be assisted.

Great ambience, outstanding system and the most I wanna mention is the decontamination.

Station staffs, including security forces are very much polite and helpful.

Quite spacious, quite modern and one of the biggest metro station of North south line. It connects Dakhinewar temple to Garia(Kavi Subhas) in the south. Total around 36km just more than a hour.anybody going doen south from the baranagar locality, for them its a better choice.

Boy, I love this station. It has saved me from the overcrowded local trains that I used to go to dumdum to board metro. The station is great overall but the position might be a bit of a problem for some. I would love an auto stand in front of the station. Either way the station is very important to me.
