This years theme is based on Rani Padmavatis Chitor Fort. The lights and the grandeur have already attracted people even before the main festivities started. However the traffic management can be better, found lot of chaos even though crowd wasnt much.

A must see pandal in Kolkata. They make one of the largest pandals and one of the best maa Durga idols in Kolkata. Adorned with gold or diamond, maa looks like none other here. Best time to see is during the first few days of opening. You can see the pandal in its full grandeur in a proper manner.

Sreebhumi is located in lake town. The entry point during durga puja is from VIP road. They put rope between the crowd to stock the crowd and to show their popularity infront of media. It is pathetic as you will have to give line for 45-60 min and the volunteer inside the pandel are disgusting and manner less they treat you like a dog. By giving line for an hour they even didnt give any chance to see or worship the godess properly.

I still remember the time I have visited this place during durga puja years ago.I have also played Cricket here, they provide you with ample opportunities to show your talent.. This is a good club for beginners as the coaching staff are better known for giving young player more opportunities as compared to the older ones. Dont be surprised if the Sports Club someday make its appearance in the News.
