Yesterday I was there with my friends. It was raining outside. We sat under the roof near water. The view was nice.

I am not a member of Lake Club. One of my friends invited me to have dinner here. We chose to have sit in open ground beside the lake. The ambience was mind blowing. Sweet cold breeze from the lake, the swaying coconut trees, soft lighting....all the things made my experience memorable. The food was good and the service also.

This is one of the best places I am privileged to be a member of. I love the peaceful experience of sitting in the lawn and recharging my batteries. The club offers some of the best facilities in the city. A swimming pool, indoor games,rowing . The bar is well stocked and the bearers are polite and eager to serve. Theres a kitchen which serves delectable food. On the whole,a very desirable getaway within the hustle and bustle of city life in Kolkata

The committee members look after this place instead of looking after their pockets.Wonderful ambience and lots of BENGALIS.good food ,wish they developed their own club kitchen.I belong to the old school and I strongly believe a CLUB should in essence be like a second home. Nowadays clubs are sourcing out their food and that is bad. One can always go a restaurant for that.I think committee members who want to have it easy prefer outsourcing .But nevertheless Lake club has improved immensely.Thankfully two other clubs of which I am a member have their own club kitchens.
