Absolutely a horrible hotel. Everything thing about it is in shambles. Leaking Bathrooms ( I stayed in two rooms over two days because the AC was not effective ), I asked for sanitizer in the room. They brought me Colin Spray 3/4th empty bottle. I asked them what was the murky liquid inside and they said it was sanitizer. The cutlery ( Stainless Steel ) was having chipped edges. People who were serving were not wearing gloves. People wearing white undershirt / Vests ( Ganjee) were roaming around in the Breakfast Room ( Kalash). A very sad version of the once glorious past.

Clean and well maintained inspite of being old. Some photos are tilted. Corridors and staircase big huge. Food standard is Good. Staff well mannered and cordial. Premises Big and huge.I liked it and it can also improve further to make it vibrant in Kolkata.

Worst experience ever. Rooms are very small as compared to price. Ive been on many 5 star restaurants which are half of this hotels price but still are way better than this hotel. Food quality is extremely poor and restaurants are very dirty with flies flying around. Money is very precious and we all have worked hard to earn it , dont waste your time in here.

Went to HHI for one of my friends wedding. Initially, I found it difficult to locate because the hotels logo was barely visible. The food that was offered for the wedding was just about average. I really appreciate that some of ghe platter were lip smacking while others were just lacking salt. The brownie I had could be little more sweet. Overall, the food might be better, its that I wasnt lucky enough that day!!Service quality is decent. But what I really loved was the wedding decoration. It was beautiful. DON’T BOOK THIS HOTEL. In short don’t look for it’s rating star. I did this mistake and below my experience. 1. Hotel walls on 8th floor leaking. Hotel is stinking and hardly have any staff. 2. Owner of this hotel is charging 5 rate but it not even healthy to stay such hotel. 3. Manager is koee and don’t refund your hard earned money. 4. 5 guest infront of me confronted in front me with varity of reason and he outrightly managing them with lie and worst service. In nutshell don’t book here. I couldn’t sleep whole night because of smell and moisture in the room. Last it seems they are managing somehow fake ratings so google team be watchful.

I stayed for 2 days there recently..I had nice experience there. I checked in before time but on reception they didnt make fuss ABT this I liked this attitude. I checked in they gave me key n envelope but no-one there was to guide me to my room when I asked them then a person came for that I didnt like this.. when I enter my room it was super clean. Room was medium size cozy ,1 light was not working in corner n bed was small for I m 5feet 6 inch only still founded small.. awesome experience in terms of nobody disturbed me as I went for my exam. No unnecessary call to ask ..I love this thing. Next morning breakfast was very tasty with much options.One thing I didnt like when I was checking out my cab declined as I was in hurry to catch my train but they didnt offer me to drop at hwh station.. Overall 4 🌟

Good stay. Good service. Tandoor and Indian food is awesome. However, Chinese food was rather ordinary and much below the expected level of 5 star dining. A greater commitment to safety and hygiene was expected. The outside pane of the glass windows were dirty. Room had a musty smell on entering. Service delivery needs to be consistent with brand image.

Well maintained. Not a regular here but in my few visits, it felt lacking in terms of aesthetics. Things look fine in daylight but the white coloured light doesnt suit a 5 star hotel. Rooms, corridors and even the banquet hall have white lights. Feels cheap overall. Warmer lights would be appreciated. As for food, the general meal menu can be improved as having at Kalash isnt the best thing to do when already paying for the room. All in all, is a good hotel but has room for improvement.

Affordable 5 Star Hotel in the middle of the city

I didnt stayed in this hotel but went there for a banquet function, I want to mention that the housekeeper department need to focus on the Cloakroom also.

I booked a suite but got a normal room. In the normal rooms there were ciggerate burns. The hallway smelled like ciggerate. Hated my room and the room freshener wasnt strong enough. I even found a half burned cigarette. The room phone didnt work. Great rooms but very bad room service. Also food was good and food service was fast.

It was the worst experience I have ever had...I stayed for 3 nights and in that time I have to change my rooms for 3 times...Even the last 1 was a nightmare...All ac are old have become yellow and have leakage problem..walls are filled with damps.... Plaster and paint are coming out... Bathroom flush doesnt work...Rats all around...Was my Last visit...

Covid 19 has brought the hotel down on its knees. In other times its a decent hotel. Wouldnt recommended this place for the time being as its terribly understaffed and eerily empty.

AC was not working in room.Carpets were very dirty.Behavior of staff was very very rude its highly unacceptable.I have visited and stayed here multiple times but this time was worst ever experience.No one repaired AC for hours together.I will avoid staying here.

Worlds worst service offers Hotel Hindustan international Kolkata

The lodge Hindusthan international is a beautiful region. it is a quite big inner. Room decorations are beautiful. Receiption peoples are simply useful and educated one. I favored the buffet dinner and their location. Buffet turned into full of chinese language, Thai, Indian and South Indian menus. cakes have been full of golap jamun, sondesh, and different yummy meals. you can additionally find here bar, bakery save, espresso store and other massive corridor rooms for distinct activities.

The place badly needs renovation. One of the best places of yesteryears. Its such a prominent location but it feels like a neglected place.

Good but One cashier vikramjit( 45-50 yrs of age) was very rude ,worst behaviour. N very much unpolite. Simply Untrained fellow n not fits in Hotel Industry.

The staff was really helpful. no cross-questions, cleaning and all. food was good. Incase If you go to UG disc make sure the amount, it is a bit costly as also similar to other Disc as well. Proper security was available if your traveling with a female partner. disc place was short that I felt. The best part of this hotel is its underground bar which is known as UG reincarnated it is one of the best disco club i hv experienced in kolkata the atmosphere is very good and friendly to have a perfect evening with ur loved ones. food and beverages are also available in gud budgeted price.

HHI Kolkata is one of my favourite hotels for stay in Kolkata. The ambience of the hotel is great and the rooms are very well furnished. Wi-fi is free with moderate speed. The housekeeping staff is well trained and prompt in their service. Room service and cleanness are up to the mark. Buffet Breakfast has limited variety but satisfactory. The care received from the restaurant staff makes your meal special. Due to COVID, Dinner is served in your room. The food taste is also excellent. Thanks to Chef Sudip Banerjee for the specially curated menu on our request and Mr. Sougata for his nice attention. Overall it was a pleasant experience. An earnest request to the management for enabling luggage sanitization and temperature check of guests at the time of entry. A good thing is that the hotel is not crowded which maintains the norms of social distancing. Last but not the least, a special thanks to Mr. Charanjeet for this best cost-effective package for us

Hence they have installed old independent AC in rooms that doesn’t gives proper cleaning.If you go to manager with your complaints, they will assure you to help but will never take proper action.Buffet breakfast has a very very limited options and is always same. Neither they add options nor they change their menu. I have stopped taking breakfast since last 2 days even if it is included in plan.It is an old property with zero concern for their guest.Never stay if you dont want yourself to be taken as granted.

Extremely poor maintenance and service. There will be nobody to answer your call, almost nothing is available in the restaurant, buffet breakfast is awful in taste, spread and ness. Only things that remain strong is the price .

Room was stinking and smelling of really the foul kind.My guest stayed there and spoke to the night shift manager , who they said was not willing to even speak to them, later over call I conversed... who promised to help. The guest checked in by 10pm. Around midnight 1am they were finally offered to shift. Even spoke to a person over phone who promised to help and look into it however my guest suffered a lot, the manager said only 7th floor was operational so shifting was difficult. Overall the service is not something you expect at all for a five star. Hopefully next time things would be better.

Despite being an old hotel, the HHI surpassed my expectations. They gave us a room on a high floor with a view. The rooms decor was modern and was easily at par with any other top 5 star. The staff service was prompt and their behaviour was pleasant, right from the bellboy to a staff passing by. Food was delicious and breakfast had all the main items. Loved my stay and would definitely visit again.
