Hedua Park is very near to my residence and have been a regular visitor since childhood.Though renovated with Joggers Track and different small parks with doors inside the but still the regular up keep and Cleaning with maintenance is required.The swimming pool seems not to be taken care by any of the clubs as algae formation and dumping garbage along the sides of the pool are a common sight.Would request the Concerned Government Authorities /KMC to Please do the needful as this is the ONLY Park in North Kolkata carrying a huge heritage and history.

Azad Hind Bag or Hedua Park well known park of North kolkata one of its entry gate is just opposite to Bethune collegiate School You can Go here Through Metro. From Girish Park Metro exit through gate no. 3 ..Nearest road Beadon street walking 3 to 4 minutes and you easily reach there ..Also have a swimming pool yoga class you can go here for evening walk with family and friends also have a small childrens park. Scottish church college is just beside this ..Here is also a church for prayer just opposite this park .. Name christ church ..And the adress is 182 Bidhan sarani..But dont expect food here ..Not so well decorated but for spending few times its nice even in day time ..You can visit once.

Hedua Park (in Bengali, Azad Hind Bag) is a popular place for leisurely visits. It is located on the Hedua More, i.e. the four-point crossing of the Bidhan Sarani-Abhedananda Road-Beadon Street-Vivekananda Road. Hedua Park has a swimming pool which is one of the best in North Kolkata for training of swimming. I learned swimming as a sport here in the age of 6 and by 10, I attained my professional swimming card! Also, it is a place where friends can meet and sit for long gossips.

Hedua park and outdoor pool, thats where I cherish my childhood days. A large pool at north Kolkata. Theres two swimming club which arrange swimming competition regularly. They are also swimming schools, teaches swimming, diving and water polo at nominal cost. Trainers ate very Good, professionals and caring especially to kids. AHB has produced number of national level swimmer. Theres a peripheral walking road around the pool. This park has seen many dignitaries and freedom fighters. This park is blessed with the connection with swami Vivekanda and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and many others

One of my favourite places to be. I have been going to this park since I was 4 years old.

Big swimming pool managed by three clubs, National Swimming Association (NSA), Azad Hind Bag, Central Swimming Club. Pool is more or less circular or oval shaped surrounded by tracks, benches for many people to spend their leisure timing with friends, jogging etc. West of the park is Bethune School and College. And East there is Scottish Church College.

Not at all mentend-very darty.Swimming pool is not well mentend-not recommend for kids

Azad Hind Bag is a Reputed park with Swimming pool in North Calcutta. One of the oldest swimming training center. It is a good place for swimming. The trainers teaches swimming very well. This is also a nice place for chitchat or a stroll. People of all ages use to visit here. There is also a childrens park inside this park separated by an wall. The park is always open at day and night.

This is a community swimming pool cum park. It is flocked by morning walkers early in the morning. And same in evening by evening walkers. One can also take swimming classes here. And it has small play areas for children too. Only during the evening time, there are some unpleasant people gathering in the dark areas of the park. And some couples frequent the place, one may find the place obscene in the evening.

It is a nice place for morning and evening walks. There are three swimming clubs teaching swimming National Swimming Association... Central Swimming Club which celebrated its century in 2017.. And Azad Hind Bagh Mahilla Samity. Special kid pool is there at Mahila Samity for giving toddlers their first lessons in swimming. Swimming is taught in three stages novice.. Beginner and then swimmer. To become a swimmer the candidate has to pass a very stringent test... The only major problem with the pool is that firstly since it is not a normal swimming pool it is very deep... The water is changed only once a year and so is not the cleanest. Apart from the pool and swimming clubs there are a couple of clubs teaching gymnastics and martial arts but I have no experience of the quality of teaching. There is a lot of greenary in and around the park and a lot of birds are visible especially in winter. Locals call this park Hedua.
