One of the most fine, cheap and best hall in nearby dumdum baguiati area.Halls are mostly clean, screen and sound system are moderate.Online tickets are available.Food counters are available. During interval they also approach to your seat also.Only drawback is that the place is congested and corridor to way in and out isvery narrow. Easily they get crowded during any housefull show.

Jaya multiplex is located at LakeTown. It was a conventional cinema hall before. Now it is a multiplex. Ticket costs less than other of its counterparts. More improvements are required. I think authority will surely take steps in this regard. I watched several movies here. Air conditioner is kept very high here. So guys keep your muffler with you if you are prone to cold and cough.

A quite nice theatre at low cost.Lake Town is a neighbourhood in north Kolkata, in Indian state of west bengal. The area comes under the jurisdiction of South dum dum Municipality. The neighbourhood was developed in a planned manner after the independence of india. Today, it is one of the important food and leisure hub in North Kolkata, having many international fast food chains and a cinema hall.

Its a very bad choice if you want to go. The staff of the hall too much rude. And also they try descide us where to seat without seen our ticket place. They are so much dominent and rude behave. So i suggest you dont go there .

Very nice place. Clean and very cheap. The cinema halls are huge and can accommodate around 100 people or more. The screen is more or less clear. Outside food is allowed inside the halls. There are 2 sections of each hall-one balcony and one normal. But both of them is very cheap. The place is located in a very busy road. So communication will surely be not a problem. Seats are nice and can be extended or stretched. Bags are allowed inside. Public buses are often available. Late night shows are not much here. There are good timing slots also for movies. Variation of movie timings can be found here. The movies also start on time.

Great sound. Great visuals. Very budget friendly. Only thing not up to the mark with other cinema places is poor seats and lack of proper air conditioning. Food and drinks are good though. Overall a nice cinema experience. Cool place for regular cinema goers. 👍🏻

Best place for middle class people. Very good quality of picture projection and sound in respect to ticket price. Seats are also well. Mid row is the best position in this hall to enjoy a movie. Really had a great experience. Interval time: you can have small snacks like chips, patties etc here at very decent price.

Nice place for watching movie...there are Jaya mini n Jaya 2...the theater is mesmerizing....audio quality is also good....n video quality is also good...nd movie fare is. Also reasonable...

It is perhaps the first multiplex of Kolkata. It has two movie screens from long long ago. Quality of the seats are not comparable to the seats of recent multiplexes. But you will have the feeling of old theatres.The most amazing thing is that almost all movies release at this theatre. So you can enjoy first day first show of all movies.

My worst experience with this so called multiplex , this is bangla cinema hall with multiplex ticket cost . Seats are dirty and quite old.They never sanitized or clean the hall specially this covit situation .Most horrible experience is it byke/car garage , if you put your byke or car , initially they ask for 30 or 50 rs. When you come to collect your byke or car they forcefully demand more money otherwise they will not release your byke or car..More horrible thing is that they stole petrol from your byke or car.Even stole helmet from byke and if you say anything they will start harresment.Dont go this place , you will be rubbed .

Ticket price 100 for rear stall and 130 for dress circle. One may book tickets online from book my show. AC and Dolby digital facility available. Situated in lake town.

I use to live this place now a day services has dipped alot not worth going it charges are high you can watch movie in pvr compare too them.

One of the weirdest experiences I ever had . Cant say I liked the place though , however the prices are cheap so I guess people really shouldnt expect much . However I wouldnt recommend taking your family to this place , it might not be appropriate .

One of the best and oldest cinema halls of the area.

This hall is not like any other multiplex . The seats are not arranged in conventional way that you might have seen at INOX but its okay. There are two kind of seating available : one is the normal and another is the balcony view seats where you can sit at a higher place which appears to be a balcony. The price of the tickets are quite reasonable as compared to its quality and amenities. The food counter also has snack options that you can get at a minimum price. Overall its good.

I love jaya multiplex lake town because its nearby from my home. Latest movies are showing here. Theatre hall is very clean. Hall authority maintain its very strictly. 90s most popular movie theater is it. Food shops are inside here. I recommend this to all. The one & only issues is about ticketing. Neither that movie theater is very fine.

The screen and sound system is aged but works decently well. They need to change the seat covers though; they are dusty and soiled.

Quite decent hall. Screen was good and sound system was decent . But one thing that personally I think is the seating arrangement. Seats was good and you feel comfortable during 2 or 3 hours continuous sitting but the seating arrangement according to the screen was bad and its quite small space inside the hall..But at this price you got a good cinema experience.

The picture and the sound quality are amazing. The A.C works fine. The only flaw I noticed was that the seats werent spacious but they were comfortable. The tickets are cheap. The food is good inside and not heavy on the pockets.

Once best Movie theater in entire Dum Dum - Lake Town area. Lots of school life - College life memories are there. A well maintained movie hall. Love this place. Now days in the multiplex era still running like a champ with even having only 2 Screens. Highly recommend.
