Its an ordinary cinema hall mostly Bengali movies shown here. Occasionally Hindi movies and rarely english/ dubbed to hindi movies are also organised. Nearby there are Suncity mall with modern fecilities so middel class upper middle class and upper class people usually dont visit the cinema hall. Common people (usually lower middle class) are the target audience for this cinema hall.

One of oldest Cinema hall of Barasat area from late 70s. Golden era of this movie theater continued till 2005. Not up to the mark in todays multiplex system. A landmark in Barasat.
