This is what makes our Airport unique . It is located inside the Kolkata International Airport at the end of the taxiway and the mosque has a secured separate entrance .

To all my brothers, who are saying that the mosque should be demolished from inside the airport property, just let me one thing clearly that I am not saying this because I am a muslim, but I am following this aviation and stuffs for like 1½ ago, so till date the other runway doesnt need to be extended because,1) Kolkata Airport uses just one runway at a time, and it will become a mess if they will start using it together, for taking off and landing purpose because they are parrellel to each other, the run 19L/01R is used for taxiway purposes.2) Mostly all the airports in India, have just one runway, except these metro cities, but all of them uses only one runway except Delhi.3) Kolkata airport is capable for taking off and landing of planes like Airbus 380 and Boeing 747, although theres a scheduled flight of Cathay Pacific Airways which has Boeing 747 has arrival time of 6:25 pm.Yeah, It might be necessary in future that to extend the secondary runway once the flight count increases, and at that time, muslims should realise that and if everything goes well mosque should be shifted.

One of the worst thing is going it should not be there in runway it will be dangerous cost for so many life please look into this matter request to all of people who r responsible there.

This mosque hinders the elongation of the left runway, therefore standing in the way of the airports overall expansion. This building shouldnt exist inside the airport for the sake of the citys image and future. It may be reconstructed outside the airport area.

This masjid must be removed otherwise an accident could happened in near future because of this

This Mosque need to removed from The Airport area. I request all Muslim followers to remove this Mosque for Kolkatas development. I know maximum Muslim followers will protest against me but development need to comes first. If it is a Hindu Temple then the Hindu Temple also need to removed.

Please move this masjid somewhere else if possible. This will help in the development of the airport as the second runway at Dum Dum can be made longer. This will be good for the development of Kolkata. Thanks for understanding.

This mosque must be demolished or shifted for security reasons as it too close to the runway

Gouripur jame masjid is not near airport runway, in fact it is not in bankra area it is located near sarat colony just beside cisf camp, bankra masjid is inside airport and near runway,every one should know about exact location of gouripur jame masjid

I hope my muslim brothers will also agree to move this mosque to another place, airports development is much more necessary.Development comes first whether it is a mosque or temple or church.There should not be anything inside a airports ground.

Request all the Muslim brothers to move the mosque near the fence as currently its on the way of 2nd runway.
