This Temple is an old Hindu temple of North Kolkata situated near Azad Hind Bag Hedua. It is established in 1865. Mata Nistarini Devi is worshiped here. The Temple is also known as Ichhapurti Mandir. As the name suggests this is a popular myth about the place that wishes of devotees fulfilled here by Mata Nistarini Devi. This is a very peaceful and spiritual place to worship.

Ichhamoyee Kali tala is popularly known as Ichhamoyee tala. Mata Nistarini Devi is worshiped here. Ichhamoyee is named as Devi fulfill each and every wishes. Its know fact that each wishes are fulfilled here. It is one of the oldest Kali Bari in North kolkata.Puja timing is 8am to 10 am and in the evening.Mata Nistarini Devi temple is situated between two Shiv temple. There is also a Radha Krishna temple.The clean and pure white atmosphere will make you fill pure from heart and soul.Ma fullfil each wishes. Joy ma Ichhamoyee.

Nistarini Kali Temple KolkataLesser-known yet a beautiful Hindu temple in Kolkata, Nistarini Kali Temple in Kolkata is dedicated to Goddess Kali who is manifested here as Nistarini Kali. Though this sacred site in Kolkata isn’t much popular as the other temples, it is one of the must-visit places in the city. The temple boasts an interesting history behind its establishment.  It is said that once a rich man of Simla area, named Krishna Chandra Singha created an idol of Goddess Kali resembling the Bhabatarini of Dakshineswar Temple from Varanasi. But due to some reasons, he was unable to establish the idol, and thus, handed over to his neighbour, Ishwar Chandra Naan who built Navaratna Temple at Bethune Row and established the idol. The day on which the idol of Nistarini Kali was installed was that of the Rathyatra in the year 1865. Every year, on this day, Kali puja is performed here by the effort of The Ishwar Chandra Naan Debottar Trust.

Its a tranquil and peaceful temple, if you visit then just sit there for a while, youll definitely feel the positive energy.

As the name suggests Ichha means Wish (in bengali). The wishes of people is fulfilled by the Goddess here. This is a popular myth about the place, which is established as a true fact many a times. This place is a great place for daily worships. The temple complex is very clean. This place is very peaceful. Nice place for visiting daily. One of my friend is very pleased by the place and he visits here almost daily.

This temple is Love. Its also renowned as Ichha Purti Devi temple as bcz its a saying and a belief of countless devotees that if you pray the Goddess with all your heart and devotion, your wish will surely get fulfilled.

Well kept temple but the entrance is too crowded with devotees lighting candles instead of diyas which was a strange sight. Also people seeking alms were too close to the temple entrance.

And as they say if there is god, there will be peace. Come to this temple and feel the peace.
