The place is famous to all over India. Hindu Saint Thakur Shri Ramkrishna Paramhansadev spent all of his life here, his was a great soul and possessed immense knowledge and wisdom , surprisingly though he had no formal education. He was the main priest in the famous temple of Ma Bhabatarini ( Mother Kali ). Our beloved Swami Vivekananda was his direct disciple, who introduced the beauty of Hinduism to the western world. Dakshineswar is situated on the eastern bank of the river Ganges and the place is not very far from the city of kolkata.
A very big station for metro railways having good display system. The station is wheel chair friendly, restrooms are just outside of the main building. The station is well connected with Sky walk route to Dakhineswar temple.
Inside mandir the environment at this moment is calm. People were visited with mask. But outside the mandir and stations the rickshaw pillars were abusive which was hard to hear.
Dakshineswar is an area of the North Twenty-four Parganas under the Calcutta Metropolitan Development Authority .This place is historically famous for the temple of Goddess Kali, locally known as Maa Bhavatarini Temple .On the side of river Ganga the famous Kali temple situated.Respect to communicate Local train , metro railway , bus and auto service available from Dakshineswar.
Great elevated station..... Plays a vital role for the visitors of Dakhineswars Temple...... All the Amminities are there from stalls to restroom and its directly connected to the dakshineshwar metro station and dakshineshwar skywalk...... Its feel great to see such a busy station with basalt on its track and which is elevated from the main land...... Though the space/width on/of the station platforms are bit low but thats manageable keeping in mind that its a elevated station..... Cleanliness is well maintained throughout the station and the rpf on duty are helpful to the passengers....
Its awesome direct entry by bridge near mandir in station
River view and Hooghly bridge is quite a scenic in the premises of Kali temple
A important railway station in Sealdah-Dankuni line. It is the nearest railway station to the Dakshineswar Kali temple.
There has the temple of hindu goddess Ma Kali called Maa Bhabatarini. The place of mental peace. The side locations are beautiful, you can see Maa Ganga as the river of Ganges, named Bhagirathi here.

The metro sation at Dakshineshwar is very beautiful. It is decked with picturesque murals. At the entrance are the idols of Sri Ramakrishna, Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda. All the works of art are exemplary in nature
Maa Kali blessings for mankind 🙏
This place is one of the oldest and historical places in kolkata. This temple is situated in the side of Ganga. It was constructed under Rani Rashmoni. The temple has a separate house for her. Ramkrishna paramhansa dev was the main pandit here. This place is full with there essence and ideals. Of you want to experience the beauty of this place visit in the evening. The river Ganga looks mesmerizing.
Lovely temple. Calm place to relax amid the spiritual atmosphere.
Yes best place for worship
I love the place as one of the religious centiment attached to this place and the ambiance beside the Ganges river
For dakshineswar kali tample, dakshineswar skywalk, metro, ganga river and much more.
Its very hot place and surprisingly there is no fan in sitting area.
Very popular prestigious Kali temple.
Joy maa.
Monthly ticket was issued with wrong ID. Two lady clerk was not ready to correct it . After long argument, manual correction was done. The language using by them , it seems they got job on compassionate ground. It is better they may be employed in other area , not with public dealings. They are not ready to agree that wrong ID no. in ticket is offencable. Even the office boy of Railway in blue shirt requested the lady to correct otherwise passenger will suffer.
An authentic place.
IT is a lovely place 👌🏻.....
One of my Favourite place
Its a historical place.
Small station but very useful. About ten minutes from Dakshineswar maa bhabatarini temple. The sky-walk from station to temple is very important for the people who comes here to see the temple. The bus stand is also nearby. But unfortunately this important station is not properly maintained. Not enough bench to sit and no foot over bridge in this station
Food a lil pricey compared to the quality
👍
Beautiful place
Religious place for Hinduism. Really good place for all ages of people... Historical place situated in West Bengal ...
Good place for Hindu temple
Very nice. Good station.
A station beside the famous Dakhineswar Kali Temple. This a famous tourist spot. You can take a walk through the skywalk and go to the temple. The river Ganga is also beside the temple. The station building is the replica of the Dakshineswar Kali Temple. The station is now very clean with toilets.
Dakshineswar railway station is a station of Eastern Railway. It is 13 km away from Sealdah railway station and 9 km from Dankuni Junction on the Sealdah-Dankuni line of Eastern Railway. It is part of the Kolkata Suburban Railway system. Most local trains specialy Dankuni Local from Sealdah station stop here and some long distance trains such as Darjeeling mail also stop at this station. No foot bridge made here to tackle the crowd, toilet also not clean and unhygenic in nature. It is nearest from the kali temple, just about 15 mins walking distance from Ma bhabatarini temple. As lot of devotees gathered here for the puja occasions this small station always found crowded.
Holy place, kali temple
Drinking Water is continuously falling on Platform no. 2 of Station. Tap broke. Please take care and stop water being wasted.
A good hindu temple... from here u can go to belur math (just only 11 rupees , 15/01/2020)
Small station. From here you can go to famous and holy Dakshinwswar Kali Temple and Adyapith
It is beautiful temple in our city Kolkatai
Very well
Very good communication
Good ambience of the station. Platform is clean. Partly shaded. A public toilet for ladies & gents. Most Important that station not crowded by vendors....
🥰
Very famous rail station. Ticket counter is looking excellent.
Very good place
Big Shree Durga Temple, worth a visit.
A small halt station for The Dakhineshwas temple. Train passes here regularly but not in time. The ticket counter is deigned like the temple. This station is the best way to go easier & faster to the Dakhineshwar temple.
Beautiful station near the Dahkhineswar kali temple
Its the important station for North-west connector. Though few locals stops but its clean and has good viewing
Such an amazing place
Small station all local and some express train have stoppage here. Very near from Dakhineswar temple. Trains are not arrived in correct time. But train communication with sealdah and Dumdum is better than bus.
This is a new tourist attractions in this Holy place. This skywalk has been constructed by the Government of West Bengal to connect Dakshineshwar Station with the Kali Temple. This skywalk is very well maintained and has already become a major attraction to the people of Dakshineshwar. This place is also loved by many tourists coming from different corners of the country.
Good.
This place will be busy because a new metro station will launch right beside it. Nice small, old station.
Wonderful kali templeNo panda problemVery systematic
Superb and Historic Place. Historic Temple if people will visit then definitely get the peace and blessing of Kali Maa.
Nice commute
Good place to go. Must for those who are on vacation here
Its a neat and clean station. From this station you may go to famous Goddesses Kali temple dakshineswar.
Dankuni-sealdah emu mainly passes from here..Express trains also passes here regularly..located near temple area so you can go through the skywalk..very calm and peaceful station..not like other crowded stations..
Very small railway station but good Maintanance. The model of this station is the same as dakshineswar temple. The Maintanance of this station is very good. All the station platform are very Newt and clean . Station is not crowded all the day but in morning and any special day this station is very crowded.
Wretched condition
Nice developing railway platform, this is the only one station near Dakshineswar temple, every one hour a local train arrives here. Sildah to Dankuni local train are arrive at the station. The train facility is a very poor service but its take less time other than bus service.
Great
Neat and clean railway station in the morning train arrives every 15 min and continues till the afternoon and as the sun sets, the no. Of train is reduced
Train service is punctual. The station looks clean but I couldnt find any dustbins there. Plus there are some ice cream vendors nearby who sells fake and disgusting icecreams. Careful with them.
Beautiful templeJoy Ma Bhabatriya ...Dakshineswar Mother Bhabtarani temple, Kolkata! Jay Thakur Ramakrishna Paramahamsadevs victory is the mother of Bhabratriya mothers victory over Mother!
Very good Rail Station & Hindu Temple
The temple of bhavatarini mata(kali) , a must see and worship the Goddess Kali.It is also famous as once the Priest here was Ramakrishna Paramahangso, here was also his deciple Swamy Vivekananda, Rani Rasmoni etc
The place has been renivated recently. The washrroms are clean, the shade has been extended throughout the platform due to metro work. The ramp is great for wheeled bags. The platforms are very wide and spacious. Lots of express trains also stop at this stagionOnly negative is that the trains the very rarely punctual and most times take too much time to reach sealdah. Also frequency of trains is very less, 1 in one hour or 1 and half hour. But another advantage is the crowd is quite less than the main line trains
Dakhineswar Railway Station is situated in the heart of Kolkata, Sealdah-Dankuni Line. It is nearly 10-15km from Sealdah. Very nice and clean railway station. The place is well connected by Public Transport. Most local trains which are going to Dankuni from Sealdah Railway station stop here and some long distance trains such as Kanchankanya Express, Darjeeling Mail etc also stop at this station.
Its not an well operated station. Even it is not shaded fully but soon it is going to be a very important one. As beside this station also metro railway terminus is constructing. Dakhineswar station is important mainly for the pilgrimage Dakhineswar Kali Mandir and the end of north kolkata. Bally bridge joining the Howrah and Kolkata state.
A small Railway Station on the banks of Hooghly River. There is a two number platform. Platform are very high from ground level. There is no wheel chair asseable entrance. Platform are very thin and small. Out side of this Railways Station is very nice. The Metro Railways work is being run on the side of Down Platform. Kolkata based communication system will be very good in future. The Station is located next to the Dakhineswar Kali Mandir.
New metro of our city
Small but important railway station........ Lots of passenger and Express train stop in this platform. This railway track is also connected with barddhaman........two railway tracks are available for local trains.. towards Dankuni and towards Sealdah....every train usually 5 to 10 minutes late every time.... Train service is not usually good. This station is important in this track..... platform is silent... Well maintained platform ....... usually clean Everytime.... Shade required..... Localities are usually helpful.......
