Old and below average place. Mainly for different types of scans (USG, blood test, ECG, endoscopy etc). Front desk is unmannered and professional but services are below average. Avoid Saturday, generally crowded. Too much expensive.

Very bad behavior of reception staffs. They harass people.

Probably the best place for Pregnancy USG test in entire eastern region of India. Especially Dr. Kamal Oswal. For any abdominal USG this should be the one stop solution point for everyone. This is traditional and a bit old fashioned diagonostic centre - they do not support reports over email and whatsapp. But their staffs are courteous and professional. You can expect all sort of valid co-operation from them and they are there to help with a smiling face.

Good place.. Economy rate for testing...

It is a renowned diagnostic centre but there is no hint of maintaining social distancing during this pandemic situation. People who are going there for testing are seating behind one another, there is no maintenance of gap at all. The receptionist are good but service is very poor. The good thing is that testing has been done with due care and Dr. Kamlesh Oswal is the master of it.Except testing by doctor, all other services are very poor.

Doesnt respond to calls

It is a famous diagonostics centre. It ensure correct report though pathology fees are high.It is near 3 no bus stand.Maximum doctors believe on their reorts.After 8 p.m they deliver reports.It is really very systemetic pathology centre I have ever seen.I have added the list of diagonostics that are done here.

🚫Beware of the fake Pathological Labs🚫I visited NCS Diagnostics, Baghbazar (Google Rating 3.3) on 12.10.2020 for CBC Test. I got the report on 13.10.2020, the test report shocked me. My platelet count was around 85,000 (which is very much below of the normal level). Though I had no symptoms of it but still I was very much afraid.Earlier, I did the same test around 2 months ago from Lakhotia. At that time my platelet count was around 1,78,000 (which is adequate).I was very much disappointed after getting the report from NCS. I simply couldnt believe the test report. Then I went to DRS. Tribedi and Roy for the same test(Google Rating 4.3). I got the report today. In that report my platelet count was around 1,73,000(adequate) . How does this happen?There is nothing to say more, do not go for tests in low-quality Pathological Labs, itll waste your time and money.🚫Dont come here🚫

High level of unprofessionalism..rude behaviour of receptionist..and the waiting time is too long ..not going to recommend it

Its a very crowded place, there is no online service to provide report through mail (for distant persons outside kolkata its very tough , u have to visit center to collect report after test...An extra day just to collect report...😡), staff behavior is good but they are very busy with so much people/ customer reaching there hence they do not give so much attention to every customers.In case some test not occurs (due to any reason like for any pregnancy test planned in 12-14 week and u go there outside this range period) then you will not get refund online (you have to visit center),,but of course u will get refund in cash...

Service and overall performance is good but it charges something extra compare to other facilities in the same field.

Very uncourteus staff...don’t know how to behave with patients ...they just blabber on patients because they are not able to handle their patients smoothly ...if you people don’t have the capacity then don’t give away appointments and make patients wait atleast during COVID situation where social distancing is a must ,where you are giving away appointments and gathering the patients at very small places

Very poor in maintaining time, one has to wait for 2 to 3 hours even post having appointment.

Pathetic customer service. Support staff are ill mannered and have no respect for the patients waiting . They are refusing simple details like wait time etc., and refuse to answer basic details asked, saying it’s their protocol. Request Dr.Oswal to look into this to make it a little easier for the already anxious patients.

Help desk staffs are very poor in taking appointments and managing time. This is a unorganized and unprofessional diagnostic center. Some of doctors insist to do test from here but you have to wait for longer time though you have reached well before appointment hours.There is no online booking and online report delivery. There are situations you booked by phone and when you reach the center you will come to know that doctor is not available today or late for hours. And helpdesk staff will pointed out patients mistake why they have not taken appointments providing all the details and why patient is asking about his waiting time. So overall service is pathetic.Better to avoid them, if you value your time.

Very worst or bad behaviour of receptinist in ncs diagonstic.

Extremely unprofessional people.. I went for a growth scan and they did even let me see the screen..additionally asked why the previous USG was done in NCS and why I opted different place... also the body cover used during usg was extremely dirty..and last but not the least they commented on why I was wearing a gown... very frustrating.

It is a diagnostic center at bagbazar area.if you want to go there you have to take bus or railway for bagbazar and walk around 10 minutes to reach here. Here you get digital X-ray in a single film service and other. stuffs are good ,but late delivery of reports is an issue.one important thing is that you have to take an identity card and a Xerox copy of your prescription.you need these for tests.

Worst professionalism. I visited the center for biopse of my grandfather. The 1st day without any prior intimation, the center was closed.The 2nd day when I went, they ask me to wait. And I waited for 3-4 hours. When I asked how much time I have to wait, they behaved very rudely. After waiting another couple of hours I left without doing the test.

Horribly bad service. Not professional, the front desk employees gossip all day ignoring your needs. Lacks responsibility and empathy for patients. Feels more like govt hospital. Very old facility with no modern age services. Running still may be due to some doctors who refer this center. This should be given a negative star.

Absolute bad service ..front desk staffs are not professional .we visited for one USG.appointment was taken before and while taking appointment over phone they told USG can be done on self basis and nothing more was told.when I came I was asked to submit a Xerox of my prescription which I was not carrying through I was having all my original prescriptions but the front desk staffs was so arrogant she refused to give me a Xerox of my prescription and it was told to me they dont have Xerox machine ...so a diagnostic centre doesnt have Xerox machine ....ok the drama didnt end here as again I told them give me the email id of their centre so that I can send the soft copy of my prescription to their email and take a print out but I was told they dont have email address and printer too ...so according to then ncs is running without printer and email.then when I started recording their misbehaviour then I was told I cant record and they also told even if I record nothing will happen to them.they made my 64 years old mother to goOut at 2 pm in this summer to get a Xerox as they dont have Xerox machine ....printer ...emailDont recommend

Poor help desk service. When their charges for any tests are same as others in market, why should we go here? Their services are not up to the mark as what they are charging to us. Their behaviour is too bad, no sympathy for the patients. I don’t recommend this place unless you have emergency without having no options in hand. Those who are coming for USG with the hope that the test will be performed by Dr. Oswal, info for them is that Dr Oswal doesn’t do any usg without prior appointment and reference. So, it would be better you seek for other diagnostic center.

The reports n testings may be one of the best in Kolkata but the management, the office staff n reception dealings r worst in Kolkata.... I really want to give suggestions and complaints to the manager or owner of the ncs diagnostics...1st of all they make a pregnant lady sit for5-6 hrs... without any reasons.... My husband already visited for appointment n payments prior to tests 2-3 times but of no use .. I know they have many formalities to do but... Is it necessary to make a pregnant lady sit in des uncomfortably seats for 5-6 hrs.... Its so harassing... I dont know what they r proving.... N if u ask them for anything they all shout at u like they r doing it for free of cost... Very bad experience...they charge no less 3000/- for usg ansmoly scan ....sud really change the behaviour n management....I wld give them negative points if it was for me... There are some pros and some cons..lets go one by one..Facility wise good, charge wise less than Roy & trivedi but there is a big difference between Roy & Trivedi and NCS Diagnostics and thats cons infact 2 big Cons which are cited below1: This centre do not have NABL accreditation which is essential in todays era (their staff at least couldnt provide us the details)2: Utter unprofessional for few staff not all though ..Doctor came for CT Scan at 11 am where as we have been informed to come at 9 am, incident date: 14th December!! initially we have been informed to provide report on 15th but once we called their no, they said that it can be given or may not be come and see and same was communicated at 3 pm on reporting day so staff are not sure about the procedures..Where as we had done 3 test from Roy & Trivedi on same week and their professionalism is awesome compare to NCS..Scope of improvement: So, NCS go for NABL & ask staff to be more professional as it seems that staff are not sure about the timeline of their own colleagues, sometimes it feels that its a govt hospital so be more smart rest is ok..i feel few good things in NCS thats why i have given some suggestion else i wouldnt have wasted my time to write review...

This is a polyclinic, diagnostic lab, and some good Doctors chember. Its in Bagbazar Street & Geerish Avenue. A very popular digonistc laboratory in North Kolkata, charges also moderate, and testing also fairly good. Very centrally located in North Kolkata.

Awefully bad staff and very poor behaviour from the doc. I would request everyone to avoid this place. Even medical college supporting stuffs treat patient in a better way. So better go to r g kar to save time and get a better service, not to mention money.

Very reliable diagnostics centre. But the receptionists and staffs are rude,non cooperative,they have no sense of time.Dr. Oswal seems the pillar of this centre.His well diagnosis is the only cause to come here after all such harassments.Waiting room arrangement is very poor.

It was extremely poor experience!!! Request everyone to refrain from this center.Today my wife had her mid pregnancy (20 week) Anomaly Scan at NCS Diagnostic with Dr. Kamal Oswal. We never had this kind of poor experience earlier.1) Dr. Kamal Oswal is highly unprofessional. He did not speak a word, after asking several times his response was poor. Though it was advised to provide past reports, Dr. never check that, his assistant check that but she did not able to understand the earlier report, we have done that in London, UK.2) The staff seems like uneducated and behaved badly.3) There was no privacy, during ultrasound any one can enter into the room4) The report are given everywhere at the same time as whatever was seen during the ultrasound, that is the report. There is nothing to test later. But they provide report after one and half day. Not sure what they write later.5) They do not accept card, you have to carry cash with you.So,there is NO facility and moreover, Dr. himself is also unprofessional and not caring.Not sure, what they are going to be provided as a report!!

Not very professional. You have to book 7 days in advance for an usg. Then you have to wait 2 to 3 hrs for your turn on the day. No chronological order is maintained during calling for your USG. You will find those who have come late,undergoing usg before you because of not maintaining serial no. by the booking clerk. Only good thing is their report of usg done by dr. Oswal which is very much reliable.

Dr.Oswal ,Best person for fetal medicine USG in Kolkata.A must visit if you need best possible Fetal USG.very organised clean systematic Center.

Reception are very bad। behaviour is very bad. i request any patient could not visit this diagonestic centre.

I have visited twice for my wife pregnancy test .1) small place 2) over crowded 3) very unprofessional 4) no one sure about how much time it would take for appering for the test..5) they have asked us to visit 12 noon with a pre appointment schedule till 1:30 noon they were not sure how much time it will take more to wait --after repeated request as being pregnant lady waiting 1hr 30 min in a small uncomfortable chair is really painful -- we got answer we had sent file inside now doc will call -- very bad experience totally unprofessional.

NCS Diagnostic is a well-known institution in the Bagbazar region and many doctors refer to the NCS for various tests. Because of this, almost every day, the patients and the people in their home are crowded. But the employees and top executives are not happy with it. Rather, always very upset and angry. According to the doctors reference, my husband, my mother-in-law, and my mother-in-law from NCS had to undergo some tests despite being quite a bit far from home. Most shocking is the last day. The date for my Pregnancy Anomaly Test was booked on February 27th at 8am. Arriving at 4am on the 5th, within 5 minutes, I finished the form Phillip, deposited money, and waited for the name to be called. After calling a few names for some time after being asked not to name anyone, they asked at the billing counter as they said they could not do anything about when to call inside. After that, we ask to be refunded by around 2am as the waiting limit is exceeded as the call is not reached. Then a senior woman took a piece of paper in her hand and called a few names. Accordingly, there is still another one before my name. To my surprise, when booking 5 days ago, I had no idea about my ability to serve myself so I could not even call 2am to arrive at 9am. Maybe we still waited ... but another girl came to do a test at that time, and I was already waiting in the morning. He needs urine pressure for his test. Not long after her urine pressure came up, she and her mother repeatedly requested that she be tested. A woman came in and told them they had nothing to do. When high pressure comes in, she waits for Urine to do one thing. After that, my husband and I returned after refusing to stay.avijit paul has previously made a complaint about privacy. My experience with that is, shortly before my prenatal screening test when Doctor Babu was checking my abdominom, a gentleman suddenly came there and Doctor Babu explained to him what bladder, which liver, etc ... I needed to say why he needed my permission. There wasnt! I didnt go Demonstrate myself there!We go to private institutions in the hope of getting better service at a much higher price than in public places, and there are several organizations that provide good services. When so many dissatisfied with the NCS Diagnostic patients and forgetting the definition of good service, it seems that some other Diagnostic Center will take our tests and reduce their responsibility and release them. It seems that they want to use them too.
