Shaukeen is a newly opened takeaway joint at GangulyBagan, near the KC Das sweet shop.They are mainly specialized in Kebabs, rolls and North Indian cuisine but recently they have started their Chinese section also.Few days back I tried few dishes from Shaukeen and among them I would love to recommend,Makai cheese kebab which is basically a veg kebab prepared with sweet corn and cheese and served with green chutney or mint chutney and onion rings. Personally I dont like veg kebabs but this one was so much delicious and a must try. My favourite one from shaukeen.If you want to try some non veg starter then go for Chicken kali mirch and mutton shami kebab. Both of them was well cooked with perfect balance of spices, not too much spicy yet very much flavourful.For maincourse I had tried Palak Paneer, butter naan and Khamiri roti. Palak Paneer had a very creamy texture and tasted heavenly when I paired it with the butter naan.I also tried fried rice and chilli chicken from them and both of them was lipsmacking.Overall if you are looking for a place to order good food without burning a hole in your pocket then shaukeen is highly recommend from my side.

This is a very newly opened outlet speical for kebabs and Indian dishes..So few days ago I have ordered some yummy dishes from them...I have ordered--Starters:Makai Cheese KebabChicken kali MirchMutton ShamiMains:Palak PaneerMasala KulchaKhamiri RotiChilli ChickenVeg fried riceEach and every items were very fresh and tasty quality and quantity wise...Packaging was also good..Service is great as well.So all over a good place to take delivery at home..And their prices are also reasonable

I really love this place as they are really very affordable and tasty. I ordered from this place few days back for my lunch meal I order both chinese and north India food I really love all the food I ordered. The foods areIn starter I order chicken malai cheese kebabs one of mine favorit and tast, chicken kali mirch and mutton shami kebab I really love and appreciate the starters and in the main course I ordered Palak panerr with masala kulcha and veg fried rice with chilli chicken. All the foods are really tasty and well packed.

This place serves some mouthwatering and tempting kebabs. Their CHICKEN RESHMI KEBAB was very soft and Creamy, the gulawati kebab was also very tasty and the spices were very well balanced. Also their FRIED RICE, KULCHA and CHICKEN side was also very good. Good place to have some yummy meal..!! 😋😋

The prices are pocket friendly too.Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Chicken kali mirch and mutton Shammi kebab both are awesome. Shammi kebab has the meaty flavour. Masala Kulcha is stuffed and perfect. Khamiri Roti is great with the palak panner. I love the palak paneer. Paneer is well cooked and the curry is very good. Fried rice and Chilli Chicken is also nice. The packaging is good. They maintain all safety protocols. Price is also pocket friendly.

Absolutely delightful treat especially the kebabs and tawa pulao. A must try for the people in the garia Jadavpur belt.

Recently found this joint while casually searching for Galauti Kebab and Chicken Wings on Zomato. I tend to be adventurous when ordering food and this was certainly one of those times when it was a good adventure.I had ordered for the Mutton Galouti Kebab, Tandoori Chicken Wings & Bhetki Amritsari Tikka.The Galouti was soft and melt in your mouth kind of kebab. As far as Galouti Kebabs go, it was very very good.The Tandoori Chicken Wings were hot n spicy and this is something that goes down very well with a choice of your Alcohol 😜, I accompanied these wings with some Scotch. The smokey flavoured charcoal cooked wings were excellent.The Amritsari Fish Tikka with Bhetki was soft and delicate with all the right taste tones.Will be trying out all there other items in the coming weeks.

Yesterday we visited this place along with my few fellow pals, inspite of being a cloud kitchen, man! Look at their presentation!! So basically, this place is very easy to locate. Its exactly at the alley where KC DAS showroom is located, quite nearer the Gangulibagan Athletic Club, so basically if u are heading towards Garia, you need to cross the Iris hospital and then you are good to go!!!They are opened on all days from 1pm to 11pm.. So either u can hop in for a takeaway or can order right away from zomato itself.. They take personal orders and let me tell you they are giving free delivery within 1km radius✌🤩So we were served-1. Paneer Shashlik Kebab which consisted of six standard sized paneers in tri colors layered with fresh cream, they were extremely tender and creamy, had the perfect blend of spices. Taste-o-meter= 5/52. Chicken Hariyali Kebab came with six pieces of green marinated spice coatings of succulent chicken, which melted right away on the first bite itself. This was also layered with fresh cream and tasted damn when tried with the mint dip🤤🤤3. Butter Garlic Naan had the infusions of chopped garlic cloves which was bathed in butter and it was served with the topping of chopped cilantros. The naan was really very soft, no hardness as such!!4. Chicken Keema Tawa Pulao came with a good portion where the rice was tossed in the spicy chicken keema. The spice level was medium and thats why it complimented well with the sides. The fragnance was somewhat like a biriyani🤩🤩5. Mushroom Matar Spicy Masala had 6 button mushrooms cut into halves, so basically we got 12 button mushroom pieces in total which is really a great deal at the price being capped for this dish. It was really spicy, the spice level was on point,was endowed with loads of veggies and the gravy was spicy as well. This dish went well with the butter garlic naan♥♥6. Kadai Chicken is the showstopper dish of all. It was damn spicy. Being a spice lover, I just loved the dish. It came with 6 medium sized chicken chunks and ample gravy. Apt for 2 folks!! 💯💯7. Mix Veg Raita was the perfect add on after having all these spicy stuffs. It was really good, medium thick porridge sort of an add on with loads of veggies which came with sprinkled coriander leaves😋😋My recommendation would be to try their kebabs coz they are really flavorsome, I loved the naan and the kadai chicken the most, it was indeed a deadly combo!!!I parcelled some stuffs for my fam as well, and trust me I loved their packaging, I had some allergic issues so they omitted that particular spice and prepared separately everything for me!! They are really hospitable in terms of their behaviour. They wrote the names of every dishes in the parcel which I took and provided me sanitizer pouch as well♥♥♥♥♥Let me tell you they are maintaining all kinds of safety precautions following the WHO guidelines. The cooks were seen wearing caps and face masks, they were washing their hands and sanitizing them on and off while cooking☑️☑️☑️☑️They are doing really good in this and im happy that I came across such hidden gem at South Kolkata.
