Gunguns kitchen is one of the best pocket friendly multicuisine restaurants in kolkata ,located near shimultala bazaar.Few days ago I have visited this place to enjoy some of their breakfast dishes and snacks.I tried Luchi aloor dum & Cholar dal, Chicken sandwich egg devil & allo paratha . i would say all the dishes were superb especially the luchi combo & egg devil . I would definitely visit this place again to try their maincourse.

Gungun’s Kitchen - New food destination of BehalaBe in Chinese , Bengali or Mughlai cuisine , Gungun’s kitchen is there for everything. Located near Behala Chowrasta , on the Diamond Harbour road this place is serving quality food since its inception. Moreover, they provide party space for a small group at the second floor of this restaurant. The ambience is simple and cute. There are separate chefs for separate cuisine which is quite impressive.What to try?Starting off with there bahubali roll , which stood out for me because of its gigantic structure and minimal price. Priced at 120, the bahubali roll has eggs, chicken , prawns and lots of cheese. A single roll can be shared easily among three people.The egg devil can’t be missed either, priced at just Rs 20 per piece , it has a layer of chicken coated around a boiled egg cut in half before it is deep fried. You can see the portion size from the pictures below.The veg and non veg kebab platters are extraordinary. They not only look gorgeous on plate but also tastes equally good. In the veg kebab platter you get , stuffed potato kebabs, veg seekh kebab, mushroom kebab, baby corn kebab, paneer tikka kebab. In the non veg kebab platter, there are even more options. You get 7 types of kebabs which include chicken tandoori, chicken seekh kebab, chicken reshmi kebab, hariyali kebab , tikka kebab and fish the list goes on.There are plenty other quick bites which you can definitely go for, be it chicken sandwich, steamed momos, mughlai parantha, aloo parantha and what not.Even their mughlai delicacies are noteworthy. You can choose a plate of biryani with chicken bharta or even chicken chaap. The options just don’t end.Certainly worth visiting for.

On ground floor have dine in and on first floor have a banquet hall which is appropriate for small gatherings or party. There is one thing, if anyone order food above ₹5000 then they can get to free access of this hall.▪︎ Ambience : The Ambience of this placeis very nice and so friendly with comfortable sitting arrangement. As this is a time of Christmas so now their theme of decor is on basis of X-mas tree, colourful papers, model of santa etc.• Gunguns kitchen provides various type cuisine like Chinese, North Indian, Bengali Thali etc. Few days back I had visited this place and tried some dishes and loved them all. From breakfast to dinner there have lots of option but among of them I would like to recommended-• Breakfast - Sandwiches, Puri and Sabji and Aloor Paratha is must try. The taste was so good. In Puri sabji platter, along with puri they provide cholar dal and aloor dom. One plate Aloor paratha have 2 Paratha with curd, salad and chatni.• Starters - Veg Tandoory platter, Non Veg Tandoory platters, Crispy Chilli baby corn, chicken wings and Egg Devil is must try. The taste of veg and non veg Tandoory platter was just fabulous in taste. Garnishing of the Tandoory platters was superb. Baby corn was so good. Chicken wings was also tempting. Egg Devil was delicious in taste. The coat of egg was made by thick Chicken keema. Served with salad and just cost at ₹20.• Bahubali Roll - It is a special item of Gunguns kitchen. The taste was just awesome. The paratha was so thick and It had lots of chicken, prawns and huge amounts of cheese. It is a must try along with anything or not.• Momo - They provide Steamed and fried momos. Both were awesome in taste. One plate of momo had 5 piece with Chatni.• Thali - Fish and Murg Thali is must try. If anyone want they can order piyaj posto bora, aloo posto along with thalis. The taste was amazing.• American chop suey and Sizzler is must try. American chop suey was amazing in taste. Sizzler was also yummylicious.• Chicken Biriyani and Chicken Chap also must try if you like Biriyani. Biriyani was Wowsome in taste. Chicken chap was also so good.• Quantity and quality of each item was enough and upto the mark. Service is fast and staffs are courteous and helped us to choose the right item. The owner of this places behavior is superb.• I had a wonderful experience here. The food of this place is superb. Do order or visit there to have a nice food at pocket pinch price.

Each n every dish of theirs is very tasty. They need to improve the time taken, but not sure if it will effect the taste and quality!

Gungun restaurant serves wide variety of dishes. They have started their dine in service as well. We tried chicken biriyani, chicken sandwich, egg devil, bengali thali, mughlai porota and bahubali roll. The chicken biriyani was really fragrant and tasty. Chicken sandwich was very tasty as well. Egg devil had chicken keema in the stuffing, really liked that. Then we tried the bengali thali it was simply delicious, almost tasted like home cooked meal. Then coming to the bahubali roll, it had chicken as well as prawn in it. They added ketchup and mayo to it. It was a huge and tasty roll. Overall really good food and worth the price.

Horrible Food ! Rich In Oil And TastelessThe Chicken Meal That We Ordered, the Chickens are not good Pieces are also half cooked, total waste of money .
