A very nice place, people here are very good, vegetables and fruits are not so over priced but not so cheap too, although Chick and Mostly Fish are quite costly here, chicken quality is moderate but fish quality not always good but some expensive and not so common fish are good during their respective seasons.... The Clothing Bazar is the best as here many apparels, bags, clothings etc can be found and very cheap price & mostly all are good quality products & the prices can also be negotiated here.... The restaurants although good some sometimes forget to clean up the surroundings of their shop thus although service becomes good the look of the place depreciates and eventually flies and insects can be seen.Overall a nice place for people who want to do good shopping within a small budget but not much recommended for eating other than tea stalls, and vegetables & fruits can be bought....

This is the heart of santoshpur and jadavpur....there is nothing that u cant get from here!!!

This not so huge BAZAAR is know to me as my in laws house is close by. Since I had spent some time living there and marketing in the Paler Bazaar. Since the Jadavpore Railway station only 150 mtrs away, all the vendors flock here so easily. The vegetables are garden fresh and the fishes available here are live (mostly). There are so many vanities of small fresh water fishes.... The prices are customer friendly. Most of the shopper have set up personal relationship with the vendors. Its clean to a reasonable standard. The atmosphere in this market very friendly and disciplined No vendor try to quote higher than normal price. This peaceful atmosphere is the main attraction of this tiny Market.

Hawkers market plus apparel brands like Denim and Raymond are available as options.

Palbazar was fabulous and mind blowing as well. It reminded me of London and Paris. Happy shopping

Fish market is very good. Good supply of live fish. Prices are moderately lower then its nearest market. Vegetable markets are poor. Quality of vegetables are stale maximum time. Prices are also higher than its nearest market.

Not great but will get some of the good products, specifically hot zone for political purposes so it is a bit risky zone from covid aspects.
