Ambience was good, service was good but the main thing which matters taste and quantity both are missing.I did not liked any item which i have ordered because it was tasteless.

Frequent visitor at second house and I like the ambience. 5mins walk from the kalighat metro and a cozy place for catching up with friends. Best part, hookah is also available at a reason price. The food menu is not extravagant but more than decent for the price range.

Great place to have group reunions and family get together! Very delightful ambience. Food options and food quality is very good. Service and behaviour of the staffs are appreciable. Hookah available here and there is a separate section for it. Drinks options and prices are reasonable. Want to visit here again.

Very small place for a evening party, the crowd and the ambience is really bad, not safe for girls..boys are using girls toilet as well no appropriate smoking area , no rules and regulations.. Most importantly they will charge high rates on drinks like LIT , but LIT isn’t mentioned on the menu they won’t tell you that, instead they will charge around 1000 for one single LIT, high quality places like lord of drinks and Ozora doesn’t also charge this much.If you like to go to a standard place to chill my friend this is not the place to chill during weekends.

Its an awesome place to hangout with friends and family. Ambience and crowd is very good, so is the staff. When they first opened I was one of their first customers since then the place has been upgraded with good quality food and beverages. A must visit for everyone.

The place is ok, but staffs are always in a hurry it seems.... Really they need to be little courteous.

Second house is literally my second house too!The happy hours here is worth it!The ambience is good , they also have live performances sometimes.Drinking zone and hookah zones are totally different.Have a small smoking zone too.Food quality nd quantities are good here , they have combo offers too!Yoou can go on a date , you can have small gossip with your buddy , or with a large friend group..Staffs are very friendly and nice , Services are good!Worth it.

Food is excellent, drinks charged moderately and service lads are okay... However the managing staff seem to have airs about them.... We as non-locals felt so, they need to be more welcoming !

Went to this place on a Saturday. The place had a decent crowd when we reached the place. I liked the fact that they have a separate room where they serve hookah, and a separate dining space.We ordered the following things at Second House restaurant:- Drums of Heaven- Cheese Fondue- Peshawari Murg Tikka- Junglee Murg Tikka- Mixed Hakka Noodles- Mixed Fried Rice- Hot Garlic Chicken- Chilli FishThe drums of heaven was a bit disappointing. The size of the chicken were inconsistent and there was more bones than meat on the piece I got.The cheese fondue was great. It had the right consistency. It tasted good. Also, the complementary items served with the fondue were really nice. They served it with nachos, pieces of garlic bread, and a good amount of sauteed vegetables.Both the tikka kebabs we ordered were amazing. The pieces of the chicken were succulent and well-marinated. They served it with mint chutney and onion in cream. I liked both the kebabs.The main items we ordered were also great in terms of quality and quantity. I loved the fact that both mixed fried rice and noodles had good amount of chicken and prawns. The hot garlic chicken was also good.My friends also ordered alcohol and according to them, the prices were comparatively reasonable. However, the place didnt have a few items (alcohol) that my friends were asking for.Another fact that we didnt like is that they were blasting peppy Indian pop songs, even though we repeatedly asked them to turn it down. They did turn the volume down towards the end, but we couldnt hear ourselves properly while we were there, due to the noise.

This is the best place to hangout with friends... It is situated just beside lake Mall... It serves great food and it has mind blowing combos in happy hour... Ambience is also good and the staffs are courteous and polite...

Food quality is and staff behavior is good but there is a trick for happy hour offer 12 pm - 6 pm. You have to be billed before 6 p.m. or else you are not eligible for the happy hour offer. We did not get, we have completed our order well before 6 p.m. but we opt bill around 6.20. we didnt get a single happy hour offer.

A budget guest house near Kalighat metro station. The guest house has AC rooms, a conference hall, and a bar for the boarders. It is very conveniently located and has access to all modes of transportation.

Second House has one of the most delicious North Indian servings. Their Bhatti Ke dal, Dahi ke Kabab, Paneer Tikka are cooked to perfection. Just love the food there.

Staff is very courteous and food is good too..

It is located on the lane behind the lake mall. It may be a good place for groups of four but not recommended for large groups of 10 or more as it becomes noisy and the other customers are disturbed. Its better to book a banquet in that case. Ambience is good. There is scope for sports screening. Coming to the food well its average. Though crispy chilli baby corn was good but other items like 2nd house steak and jack daniels wings were not tasty. It is not what is expected at that price. Its better to opt for indian items. The staff are helpful.

Second House is an apartment turn into a bar. Terrible choice off music, oversmart service guys, and pathetic food. Make sure you have sweet tooth with love for tomato sauce in oriental dishes. Amazingly there was no variety off beer available.Sorry but I have to say that if you are short on money you can opt for this place. If you are looking for an experience, its a strict no.

I have been there several times. Its a nice place with good ambience. Near to Kalighat Metro Station. But need to walk 5-7mins from metro.Staff members are polite. Food is great, but slightly expensive than what it should be depending on its taste & quality. Overall its one of my favourite place to go with friends. 💯❤

This restaurant is pretty difficult to find as there is no clear sign board. The ambience was not upto the mark as it was very dimly lit & the music was pretty loud, so if you want to go their with your loved one & have a peaceful dinner then I will not suggest this place. But if you want to go & hangout with your friends, craving for some mouth watering food at a pocket friendly price & some cheap booze definitely visit this place. They have some great combos at great prices both for veg & non veg.

They are not even providing a extra filter for hookah and saying that they had to give accounts to their owner.

HelloWe went to this restaurant with a hope of good food and good ambience but both disappointed us.We ordered pan fried chilly fish which was server with normal rohu fish which was not at all expected,also the fish tasted stale. The noodles that we ordered was also not upto the mark its just like home made noodles yellow in colour. Also the Reshmi kebab that was served was also yellow in color I never knew Reshmi kebab can be yellow. Overall we had a pathetic experience

Nice place. Food is really good. But staff is rude. I had paid my bill and smoking my hookah but they forced me to leave my place because they are having people waiting. I had to leave my unfinished stuff behind. Also they initially put one item in the bill that I ordered but they did not serve as the item was unavailable. Check the bill if u spend here

I went for Seesha (Hookah) and drinks. But the hookah place is so suffocating that after one hour it becomes a hotbox and same song are played repeatedly for more than 3times in a row which doesnt even goes with the ambience. Please work on this facts and rest can be assured to be one of the best Hookah parlour in South Calcutta.
