Here comes an honest review after staying for 6 months of my home interior done by Soffit Interior. So, it all started on a good note and I was very positive about this lady Called Moushumi, the owner of the company. Everything went well and the work started. I was involved with her throughout the process and gave her inputs and got into each and every minute detail such as sofa design, almirah design, false ceiling design, laminate selection, mandir design, color selection, and whatnot. I was on a very positive note that I have hired a sophisticated, honest, and professional lady who is way better than a local contractor or a carpenter. But it was shocking for me that how her behavior changed drastically after I paid the last installment to her. I paid before the handover as requested by her. I requested her several times to look into the site properly for any miscounts before handing them over but she did not as she was just in a hurry to move ahead (obviously, she had received the full payment). The handover was pathetic, the entire site was dirty as hell, the laminates were missing in many places, the kitchen sink was not done properly, the bathroom sinks were incomplete, all the furniture corners had sharp edges, the sofa and dining table was undone, and the list is endless. In short, she did not do the final check and delivered the site in a hurry. Finally, the impression that I got about her was that she is an extremely disrespectful, unprofessional, rude, money-minded, and adamant. We spoke to her on different occasions asking her to come and visit us only once and see to herself what we cannot explain over the phone or by sending images of all incomplete work that she has done(intentionally or unintentionally). She did not come and spoke very rudely with my husband whenever he requested her to fix them. She was just not ready to accept her fault and do the rectification and in fact, blamed us that it is very difficult to satisfy us. She set us the defaulter every time we called that we are on a fault-finding mission with her, as if, we don’t have any other work left to do. Let me clarify one thing here that we are busy professionals and we don’t have time and interest to get after a lady who is always disrespectful. We had to call her because she did all the work and if we are facing any challenge, we are left with no other option but to approach her. She had left the work incomplete at many places intentionally only realizing that we are fools and would not notice the same. I would like to mention only one thing here that there is no difference between a novice and unprofessional interior contractor and Soffit interior, the last impression given by her only. I am regretting now that I hired her for my dream home. Finally, I have found a better professional who is kind and polite with good behavior, extremely professional, and most importantly a good listener who is rectifying all the mistakes and incomplete work of my home and also taking care of my new office interior.

When I contacted Soffit Interiors for decorating the interiors of my home, I made sure to discuss their ideas with them. Their creative minds satisfied me, but what amazed and filled me with appreciation is their professional execution to turn a simple surface to a bright one. I Love the beautiful zone a lot!
