This is the oldest market area of Barasat town. It is close to Barasat central bus stand and railway station. Almost everything is available here .. be it vegetables or fish.. or may be fruits or grocery stuffs. You need to know where to find the thing that you are looking for. Quite congested hence parking may not be easily available. Several godowns are there for which roads are stuck with trucks at night. It is advisable to visit this place with public transport and by walking.
