Had a stay for a number of times for work purpose in the city. The location is very good. Very easy to reach from both sealdah and airport. The ambience very homely. Very well monitored. The management and warden makes it felt like home. The food is very good. Very tasty and hygienic. Yes, very strictly monitored as necessary for the girls security.

My sister stayed twice and more times when visiting Kolkata. Described the stay as very comfortable and convenient location wise. The food served three times as meal and a snack in evening. Food is good and homely. Stay is v well monitered and secure. Felt keeping my sister over there very secure.

Very good place

I am residing at Calcutta Ladies Lodge which is nearer to my College since 2017 to till date. The homely atmosphere and cooperation, sympathetic attitude from all the staff of the PG is praiseworthy. Many renowned hospitals exist near to the PG. All boarders enjoy security in the PG. Besides, non-veg is served daily during lunch and dinner. On the whole, this PG is beneficial to all girl students.

This hostel is absolutely superb. Hospitality and homely environment too much attractive. The staffs are friendly,helpful . All the necessary amenities are available, this hostel changed my concept of PG or hostel . This is one of the best of I have ever seen .

I as a father of my daughter who is studying in kolkata & lives here & I am fully convinced & happy to allow my daughter to live here as is is like a home for her with all the necessary modules which is required in a daily basis in a own home,with full safety & security. I found all the staff members over there are fully trained & professional, they take care of all boarders equally & with full care. I will recommend all the parents to take this opportunity to keep your daughters if they are looking for a PG in Kolkata.

Dont fall into the viscious trap of their extremely good and friendly behaviour at first. Not at all a student friendly pg. They will extract money in every possible way. The building serves botha as pg and lodge and there is no privacy in the rooms. They will provide the empty beds in sharing for lodge purposes such that any one can come and go and for whatever duration they want. Also the worst management I have found till date and the owner can do anything for money.

This PG is hideous. The warden is a manipulator. She will use all kind words available infront of your parents but after they leave its all hell in here.All the facilities mentioned are nothing but trap.The faculty members fight among themselves almost every second day. Forget studying you cant even sleep peacefully .Everyday is a problem,and to add to all the demerits when me and my friends informed the authorities that we will be leaving this place after 1 month they removed the dustbin from our floor.Do not come here there are better places available.

Hi, All the viewers of this website this is my personal opinion that if there is any paying guest house in kolkata which is like a home rather can say a second home that is one and only calcutta ladies lodge, P- 6 Monmohan Bose street, my sister is staying there last 4 years, it is within just 2 mints walking distance from Bethune college,

I was a boarder of this PG from July 2018 to July 2020.Pros:1. Location:The location is undoubtedly good with all possible modes of transportation available.2. Food:i. 2 meals- lunch and dinnerii. Tea- 2 times(Contd. in cons)1. Rent:Ever rising rent(without prior notice)2. Water:i. Very often bad smell in drinking water.ii. Interrupted water supply in rush hours.iii. Gyser out of order.3. Cleanliness:i. Irregular room servicee (hardly once a week)ii. Fungal growth on doormat.4. Tiffin: Mandatory tiffin service in exchange of RS. 1500/-( bread-banana or Jhal muri)5. Electricity:i. Arbitrary meter charge.ii. In spite of separate electricity bill, we were not allowed to use electric kettle and iron.6. Privacy:i. Lack of privacy as we were not allowed to lock the rooms.ii. Entry of male management staff withoutt prior notice.7. Responsibly:A strict eye on activities in social media but lack of responsibility in distress.The building serves not only as a PG but also as a lodge on a daily basis.Drastic incidents:1. Extremely rotten smell (probably a dead rat) in drinking and bathing water,which lasted for 2 months.2. 3 or 4 pump breakdown issues a semester.3. A fire broke out on 5th March,2020 midnight to which the PG management was least bothered. The boarders were alarmed by the neighborhood and not the management. Consequently, electricity cut out for 2 days.4. Electrician caught red handed taking inappropriate photos of boarders.5. They did not bother to take a boarder, seriously ill, to the hospital. Rather, they left the two girls ( the sick and her roommate) all alone at midnight in the hospital.6. Dislodging the belongings of a boarder for repair purposes without prior notice.7.Lack of humanity: No fees waiver (flooding charge) for 3 months of no stay in the Pandemic COVID-19 scenario.

The location of the Pg is good but other than that everything you can think about is bad. If youre searching for a pg this is the last place to keep on your list. Food is tasteless oily and unhygienic. Toilets are not clean. WiFi doesnt work properly. No environment for studying. Construction work is going on 24×7. Behaviour of the warden is very rude. They dont provide any facilities they mentioned. The rent and electric bill is also very high.

Home away home feeling in this pg, 1st of all its nery close to our college, just only 5 mints walking distance, food is tooo tasty and hygienically cooked , security is very strict, owner and wardens too friendly just like they help us to feel like a home, i just feel that i am in my own home

This pg deserves no star as the facilities mentioned is never provided as per requirements.This pg costs so much more than any other pgs nearby.This is a girls pg but one can always see around workers moving around all the floors.Theres no environment for studying as 12months of the year only includes repairing and construction of the building.Ofcourse the electricity bill which is also to be paid has higher rates than any other pg.And the worst part is the food.Finding for good a pg ,try avoiding this at first place.

This is the worst place... Most of the time they dont have water, food from them worsened with time, rude behavior and what not. Wifi not working, problem with light and fans, unclean toilets, undue interference, people entering rooms without prior notice and what not... The owner is a thief, a wretched fool

I cannot give a negative star. This is the worst place for staying.The management, the food, the administration is pathetic and worse. It doesnt even have an environment for studying. ALL 3 YEARS, WE HAVE LIVED WITH CONSTRUCTION WORKERS. AND WORSE IS, THEY HAVE BROKEN MY ENTIRE ROOM WITHOUT INFORMING ME, WHEN I WENT HOME. WE DONT EVEN HAVE A PRIVATE BATHROOM, WE SHARE IT WITH THE MAIDS.

This pg gave a worst experience to me...the staff is not cooperative at all...the water supply is very irregular...often college times are missed due to inconvenience...food quality is also very bad...no environment for studying due to continuous construction work...also it takes a large amount of money but the facilities are not upto the mark...overall I would not recommend any one to board up here!!!
