It is a old TB hospital. Situated just beside the KPC medical college. Bed capacity of this hospital not so high.. Due to it specially made for TB patients. Doctors and others staffs are good. Any one can notice this hospital from road. Nearby rail station is Jadavpur railway station. It is a good hospital for TB patients.. To get better management.

Its a historic landmark in healthcare services in West Bengal. The hospital is mainly for patients suffering from tuberculosis. I havent been inside the wards, but the corridors and surrounding roads are very much clean. Walking through these roads is a very serene experience if you can ignore the fact that it is basically a TB hospital. The legendary Bengali poet, Sukanta Bhattacharya was admitted in this very hospital for TB, where he unfortunately expired at a very young age. A nearby bridge is named after him- Sukanta Setu. The TB hospital campus now houses the KPC medical college.
