In India no other cities have such a body which is run by the Kolkata Police & The Bengal, a NGO and for the Sr Citizens. And Lake PS has maximum number of members under its jurisdiction. Representatives from Pronam visit us at an intervals and do enquire about our welfare. On 26th Jan 2020 they took us to the ptonam where the national flag was hoisted followed by cultural program and refreshment.
E-Registration is very simple. Deputed officials in respective P.S. are much helpful. Occassional get together of members are socially good for senior citizens.
