If Google maps provided -5 star review option I wouldve been really happy. The owner of the shop is inconvenient and not customer friendly. I highly recommend not to visit this godforsaken place and waste your priceless time and effort. Plus all the guitars shown in the images are fake. The shop is smaller than a public toilet. I wish I had the power to ban and close this shop forever.

If youve been looking at all the nice pictures of floyd guitars on the web, here are a few things you should know before visiting this store, based on my recent visit :(1) The selection of guitars in the store is a tiny fraction of what you see online ... maybe about 15% or less. You cant buy most of what you saw in the photos. When I visited they had fewer than 10 guitars with nice graphics in stock.(2) If you buy a guitar, check it very carefully. Mine turned out to have a 2cm chip in the back, and worst of all ...(3) The guy I dealt with (Bappaditya Banerjee if I believe his card) lied outright about his ability to get me a travel case quickly. He insisted on taking a deposit, and promised (several times over) to deliver a case in 2 days. 3 days later, and I havent even heard from him. Today, I called, and now hes not sure he can get it, and trying to tell us that its possible to carry a guitar in hand on an international flight (which is completely untrue). Now he says I can come back to get the deposit back if Id like. (*^&%&^^%*&!!!!)The guitar I got looks nice and isnt bad -- but given the overall experience this is a purchase I definitely wouldnt repeat. I cant help but wonder if its going to crack next.Just knowing that the inventory is tiny compared to what you see online made it a waste for me. I bought the guitar because it was good enough but not what I was hoping to find when I visited. The rest of the experience just made it worse, to the point I hope this review will save some others the hassle.

Being a left hander, I couldnt get any lefty guitars in any other shops. While some of the other shops offered to restring the guitar to convert it to a lefty guitar, a little research on the internet corroborated what the person at floyds had told me - that its best not to buy a restringed guitar. So I got a custom made left handed guitar. And I researched about various woods that would sound best and I even got to give the specifications of which wood I wanted my fretboard, saddle and nut etc to be of. They also offered to make a bridge and nut of ivory, but that would be costlier. So in summary - I got to choose what type of guitar I wanted. Alternatively, you can leave that to them to choose what materials the guitar would be made of, which is also okay. The guitar definitely sounds better than than the starting budget guitars by Fender, and perhaps even Yamaha (as another commenter here observed), and the cost is much much lower. For beginners as much as for those looking for custom made guitars by professional luthiers, Floyd is a place to check out. In my amateur opinion, they deserve appreciation.Yes the shop is small, which adds to its appeal. Bappada and also his brother were very friendly and patient as I bothered them with my specifications. And the prices are amazingly economical. The guitar sound as good as any or even better.
