Puttige matha in Kolkata is mini Udupi of Kolkata. We stayed in Kolkata for 2 yrs and enjoyed all the festivals and events of matha and felt blessed. Thanks to everything. We miss the place a lot!! Do visit if you go to Kolkata, matha is very peaceful and matha personnels are very friendly and humble.

I am giving 1 star since there is no option to give 0 star. Very poorly maintained.. no cleanliness in the rooms to stay and the cost is really high. Instead of staying here I could have stayed in a oyo room or in a decent 3 star hotel. Waste of money. I do not recommend for staying here.

Beautiful temple. Very peaceful and a wonderful experience. A must visit place in kolkata. And do talk to the temple staff about the history of the temple and the deities.

Probably only place in kolkata for madhwas,great ambience, must for those who miss temples of southern part of India. One can have all rituals done as per individuals customs,Great support from local management,Visit Mutt to have connect to all southerners staying in kolkata, If you are first timer in kolkata seek support from Mutt, you will be guided :-)

I stayed here for a couple of days in Dec 2016. A wonderful place - shrI sAgara and colleagues elaborately attend to the deities, much to everyones delight. The vIra-jAgaTe sounds during the AratI are unforgettable.
