A very old school near Shovabazar metro and walkable from Bagbazar Rail station. Had an exam here. Candidates had to stand in long queue to avail the only washroom in the ground floor. Staff also seemed to be inexperienced as they started exam nearly 15 minutes late.

Its a great school I studied there till class 10 and it gave me so much knowledge about the world around us

Shyambazar Anglo Vernacular School was established in the year of 1855. It was one of the Vernacular Schools built on 19th Century. Many Grate person like Iswar Chandra Chattapaddhay, Rangalal Bose, etc. visited and helped it to flourish in course of time. The School though struggling but still able to maintain it essence as one of the Heritage School of Kolkata.

Very much well known for its naughty students , but this school has multi-speciality feature like gym and of course library and smart computer room 👍 and etc.

It has been my school since class 1 to 12! & that 12 years have been such a wonderful memory with friends & lovely teachers! I still cherish those beautiful days of my school life!

If you want a great and quality education... You can send your child here.... This is under the West Bengal Education System but here teach students by Bengali Language. It is located in the Shyambazar area, but the school rooms are too cozy and small and without any discipline thats why Im giving here 3 stars but education system is too much good........ Hope you are interested on my review..... Thank YouBut here most of the higher classes students are smokers.... So,I think its not a good place for your child
