Was lucky enough to book a room and stay here for a couple of days. It is a very historical and holy place in barabazar Kolkata. The building consists of holy temple, Langar, dormitory and stay rooms. There is also a bank in the ground floor. The arrangement and the hospitality of the management staff is quite good and appreciable. One can three times meal in Langar. The temple atmosphere is peaceful and calm.

Gurudwara Bara Sikh Sangant, a place must visit if you are in Burabazar area. The vibes in this place is just wow. They offer kirtan as well (must listen).

Gurudwara Bada sikh sangat is located on busy MG Road. Its one of two historical gurudwaras in the city, where Guru Nanak visited on 2nd jan 1510. He stayed here for 12 Days.The building has gone through various changes in past, with recent renovation done last year on occasion of 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak.The gurudwara is well maintained & had excellent facilities for travelers to stay overnight Langar is also available throughout the Day.

It is a historical place for sikh people as our sikh guru visited there really blissful atmosphere.. I usually visit in evening as kirtan is been sung by kirtanyas and path goes on and people doing save there are also very humble and polite.. I would recommend everyone to visit this magnificent holy place. ❤❤🥰🥰

Gurunanak ji itself had visited this gurudwara and had stayed for 12 days and the last ascendant had also stayed here..Gurudwara is the most peaceful place to visit
