Room is reasonably good. Big and spacious. Bed is good. But the guesthouse as a whole can be maintained much better. Air conditioners, electric switches etc need replacement. Corridors need renovation and good regular cleaning. Surroundings, campus need thorough cleaning.

Condition is not good. I dont you about the funding but ots a central institute ot must have to be maintained properly. Beds are good. But walls and wiring are falling off. Reception guy was very rude.

The place is good, clean and cheap. As its a government facility its not available for public but if you are a government official you can access it. The food is not good its better you eat outside.

This guest house is only for those who work in NSSO under MoSPI.

Its a government guest house. Provides accommodation for people attending any conference or workshop at ISI Kolkata. But requires prior permission and a letter from concerned authority from ISI Kolkata. Food is okayish and you cannot expect more. Few other good options for fooding is available close by. For taking food at the guest house canteen, one needs to inform the caretaker one day beforehand
