One of the most famous Durga pujas in Kolkata, Hatibagan sarbojanin is definitely one of the places to visit. This place is located in North Kolkata and can be reached via Shovabazar metro station. During Puja times(saptami-navami) from 4pm-4am the entire area is closed and you either need to get down at Khanna stop or Hatibagan crossing. Plenty of food stalls are available to have your food if youre hungry. Therr is a public toilet if you want to do your business.

A really beautiful durga pujo pandal. The intricate work on the pandal really blew my mind. Plus the idea #MaaClicks was new and exciting where you get to stand in front of maa durga and a photo is automatically clicked for you and a QR is generated to get that photo.

The most surprising and unique thing about Hatibagan Sarbojonin is the way they bring up a mesmerizing work of art within the limits of a very narrow lane and short time of merely 3 months every year. You will be greeted with a moving geometric spiral illuminated with white hologram effect. Circular wireframe lobby is the next stop with statues inside and a beautiful idol with dreamy large eyes on blue hued backdrop. The dreamworld effect is all-over with lanterns like twinkling lights on the blue hue made of large hanging nets.

Last year it was extraordinary. This time it was ordinary.Was not awestruck this time unlike last year. The lighting was the saving grace for the Pandal.

One of the best theme puja in kolkata, the maa durga pratima was unique, the only pros was few people from puja commitee was - there was no croud at the time we visited the pandel, we had vip pass with us still they was closed vip exit and forced us to leave from the normal exit.

The idol of this place is very good and they started with a new idea of fixing the camera in Durgas eye

In the hatibagan Good pandals are made during the Durga Pooja festivals..this is near the sobhabajar metro station .many peoples from different places come to visit here .this is very busy streets as there is very close market so. There is always traffic in the roads . people face problems in travelling.

If google had negative ratings, i will give it; we had FFd invitee vip card we shown it at their vip gate , one young club member told us it is fake card ;using this card we seen almost all of the pandals in kolkata 2019 durga puja, most interesting the card had original hologram with laminated structure but still they neglect it;after that with the same card we went for nalini sarkar street pandals vip gate they easily accept the card and give us chance to see their pandals;thats why 1 star ratings one of the worst maintenance from hatibagan sarbajanin;

This is one of the oldest Sarbojanin Committee in Kolkata which organises Durga Puja. Their artists are top class who produce master pieces and have won many awards all throught their past. There focus on making the Pujas a collaborative one and promoting safety has been their priority. Many youngsters are part of the Committee as well which is very much visible in their final designs and concepts.
