Loved the place. Even though I am what people call a passive army, I brought my girl here on a date, and she loved the place. For hardcore ARMYs like her, and even for the casual cafe diver, this relatively hidden little nook in quaint South Calcutta will leave all impressed with their cosy ambience, amazing hospitality and really good food, which was a surprising factor as I have visited many fandom and novelty cafes, and their food has never been a key selling point. There are a lot of Korean grub on offer, and for the relatively conservative eater - they have all the general cafe regulars. I loved how they particularly adjusted the Korean dishes as per the Indian palatte, thats always a hit-and-miss at Asian pop-ups. The food we see in Anime and Mukbang might look appealing, but they taste quite different to what we are used to, and therefore unless one is running an Asian dining exclusive resturant, it is very important to do palate adjustments, and I hope more cafes follow the route that Bite That Spoon took. Ofcourse your experience would be enhanced trifold if you are an actual fan of the band and the culture associated with it, as the ambience looks like it is the rest-stop you come to when you chart the Map of your Soul. Particularly loved the album arts, the little details such as the BTS logo bookcase (housing a lovely little book on BTS that is a page turner while you sip on one of their fantastic mocktails) and the wall of messages. The place is beautifully designed, even though its a rather non-traditional cafe layout, as it is afterall a retrofitted 3 BHK ground floor appartment. The must haves here are the loaded fries, the Bibinbap and the mocktails, which were surprisingly value for money and not just a cash grabbing gimmick. They play BTS songs all day, and my girlfriend informed that they play some hidden tracks and covers as well. The place was relatively empty when we visited, so we were able to vibe and enjoy the place for a long duration of time. Also, merchandise is available, and although not official, are amazing things to take back home. Its a definite must-visit. I urge the staff to promote the cafe more, expand the menu and host more events as they are doing currently, and the cafe would certainly be topping the billboards just like the band they based it upon. Would visit again, thank you team Bite that Spoon.

Tastes exactly like a spring day. Like the first blossoms of spring. The sweetness is so mild and refreshing, like the first breeze of spring, I have never had a drink like it before.2. Boy Meets Evil - The yellow drink. ARMYs will understand this: the first thing that came to my mind is J-Hopes intro video and the dance. Somehow, that entire aura has been perfectly captured in the drink. How someone captures the aura of music in a drink is beyond me. Its slightly spicy and tangy, and again, Ive never had a drink like it before.3. Winter Smile - This is a dessert made of apple fritters and yogurt. This is actually a new concoction that took birth today, its a mixture of two other desserts on their menu. Classic yet unique mashup of flavours. Love me some intelligent food. Again, never ever had a dessert like it before.We also ordered the Bultaorune Chicken Wings and Carbonara Fries and they were amaaaazing as well, and so amazing that we missed out on taking pictures because we had to hog it down.Like Namjoon says, I have huge respect and admiration for people who make our food. Pictures and fan-arts of the Bangtan Boys ,namely Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook , covers the walls of this tiny little cafe. There are themed books on the shelf, cute messages written on sticky papers and attached to the wall, and Korean music playing continuously to give the ultimate vibe. The Buldak Noodles which came next was basically a spicy noodles, with chicken and poached eggs, something native to the Korean cuisine.The Pork Bibimbap which I got to hear and taste of for the first time was a one-pot meal to be precise. It had steamed rice,spicy pan fried pork, bean sprouts , assorted vegetables, a poached eggs and finally garnished with sesame seeds. Had previously rated this place very highly, but now Im compelled to change the rating due to some scrupulous behaviour from the staff/management. Although on zomato they show that they have Zomato Pro, they refuse discounted payments through Zomato Pro citing unclear reasons, and charge the full amount instead.
