Sweets are hygienic but it ends there. Much better stuff is available at the small sweet shops and at a much cheaper rate. I am guessing its because their sweets are more machine-made than hand-made !

I have noticed that variety of sweets have reduced considerably for past couple of years.Not sure if its deliberate. Other than the cost factor there is nothing to complain about. We had ordered 30 veg lunch packs from Balaram Mullick for our grihapravesh function. All the items were very tasty and light. Each packet was enough for an adult individual, if not excess. Each packet included about 8 items, including a sweet and chutney. The packing was done in a nice way, which made it easy to hand the packets over to the guests. Its quite good an option for a homely function.

Baked rosogolla is awesome and unparalleled. Varieties of other sweets are also available like jol vora, aam doi etc.price is in a higher side.

The best sweets shop in kolkata undisputedly.They have every kind of sweet you can dream of, I spent 1 hour here and tried every sweet they have to offer from mango gelato, to normal rasogollas, baked rosogollas, baked doi, aam doi, mishti doi, baked bundi, ras malai, rabri, etcThey also have great dhokla and chops served with mustard sauce aka kasundi.They have tin packed rosogollas that you can take anywhere , I would suggest you try all kinds of sondesh too.The mango gelato is really very unique item which I never tried before,You can also try baked rosogollas they are a class apart.They also accept paytm thus cashless mode of payment.Loved this shop, there are many outlets in kolkata.The one I went to was near ruby gst bhawan.There are 2 outlets around here, also at park street.

I loved the place..I have visited other outlets as well but this one is exceptionally good with amazing varities of sweets,pastry, souffle and many more..I get so indulged in the presentation and aroma of the sweets that it becomes difficult to decide what to buy and what not.will prefer to taste each variety for any sweet lover.😃😃

It was pretty crowded when I went. Hardly any Covid protocol in place. the bill was just a cash receipt, but did not have granular details of the prices of the items. Seemed weird. Packaging is decent , but the carry bag was falling apart. Seemed to accept credit cards too, but I paid in cash. The best part is that all sweets have an expiry date now ( like best within 2 days or 1 day etc). Although the same is not mentioned on the packets where the sweets are packaged. So in case of take away the information is lost I suppose. You have to remember all the expiry dates.

The shop is located near ruby which I visited today but there are more branches of this sweet shop all over Kolkata. the location of this shop is exactly beside the GST vaban.the shop has variety of sweets but as I have visited other branches too,it seems here are only limited options.the shop is not so spacious though at the time of evening when I came it was crowded. I have purchased Kalo jaam,rosogolla,mango souffle Sandesh,jolbhora,lichur payesh,mochar chop and soyabean chop.i liked the most is mango sandesh.though the price is bit expensive of the sweets.but quality is great.stuffs are courteous.overall if you are a sweet lover,you must visit this shop once.

Very hygienic. Accept Cards and other cashless payment methods. Various varities of sweets. Tastes great. Has bakery fast foods also, all veg though. Has packed cakes also. Good infrastructure, ambience and lighting. One problem you may face is if you do not have the exact amount of change when you are paying cash. They face troubles while breaking big notes for giving you the balance. Has sanitizers, protective glass at cash counter. Guard maintains the door.

No better sweets anywhere else in the world. The best in India of course. Making all of the sweets from natural stuff and still making it the best in class is indeed an achievement. They deserve all the praises. Want to eat something better than this? Need to go Mathura/ Mewad for that or else simply no match to them.

I used to love sor doi of Balaram Mullick & Radharaman Mullick. But my recent experience was horrible. I ordered it again from swiggy. They served the taste of pudding instead of sor doi. Looks of the dessert is the same as before. The taste was absolutely not of any kind of doi. When I complained them, they told we do make sor doi like this only. I had to compromise with my guests.

I am not a regular customer for this shop. I ordered baked rosogolla, nolen gurer souffle and ice cream sandesh. I must say all the items were really very good. I do have some concerns with their covid-19 safety protocols as some of their guys were working without any hand gloves or masks.Update: I recently bought some chocolate sweets and those turned out to be absolutely pathetic in taste

I i thought of rating them 0 if that would have been possible...the worst experience i had with them...so i ordered dudh puli on 7th January for me and my friends but i have been cheated with the quality of the food...they have supplied sweets instead of dudh puli and cover it milk with jaggery taste but the real taste was like a chamcham... I am Bengali and they tried to fool a Bengali who has the knowledge of Bengali sweets.. Pathetic experience will never try and not recommend to any of my friend..

Now a days the quality of online service is detoriated. In the event of online purchase, frequently it is found that either the quantity of products delivered less in number than which is ordered or the items delivered are not according to the order given. Not only that the quality of the products are also very bad with rotten smell.In every cases it is informed them over phone but they just replied sorry sir. Still it is continuing.On 09.01.21 we ordered poneer paties, mocha chops, singaras and gurer talsash sweets but when it is delivered we found that there was no talsash but cachagolla with rotten smell. We became very much ashamed infront of our guests.

I am a frequent visitor of this sweet shop since my college days(15 years back).In those days they only had one outlet at Jagubabur Bajar. But from the time they start to open new branches in different places at Kolkata the quality has fallen drastically.I visited their Kasba branch two days back after 4 months. I observed that they have raised prices of almost every sweets.I have purchased Nolen Gur Sandesh.They were not tasty and really dry.

No price tag, always you have to ask the seller for the price of each item. This is not acceptable.

Sorer doi is the best misti doi i ever had

Worst...these people are just cheating customers.They are charging Rs.40/- per piece for a normal langcha and we found a solid substance inside all of them. And the Malai chomchom was stale , smelly. Please do not buy from them. They have no quality products. We slso found some small insects inside the rabri.

Some of the fusion sweets are too good ! But cannot recommend if you are looking for traditional Bengali sweets
